  • You missed one. How about what do the students want to learn? You see you are ignoring the most important factor when it come to education. And that is the student.

  • @lukewarmstormed I'm not ignoring that. I just didn't have time to talk about everything. Obviously the needs of the student are very important. I do briefly mention near the end of the video that I think a more privatized system would better suit students' wants and needs.

I believe in competition. So school in my opinion should compete with work. If students find it more beneficial to work than go to school or be tutor whatever then they should be allowed to especially if they are poor as it will give them an income to aid in their disparity.

  • @lukewarmstormed There are two things I object to here. One is that this sort of thinking leads to poor families being uneducated and having little chance of getting a better job that requires more advanced skills and knowledge. Two: I don't like your premise here which is effectively that children should be poor simply because their parents are.

  • @Stephen5000

How does this decrease a chance of the poor for getting a better job and knowledge?

Also when did I say children should be poor due to their parents? Yes that's the reality of the situation but I never said this to be ideal.
