@ChiaotzuFanLULZ I tend to form balanced teams based on type match-ups, so I tend to look for Fire, Water, Grass, Electric, Flying and Dragon pokemon, along with secondary types they tend to cover up for almost every possibility.

Of course I also train other kinds, Psychics and Ghosts are some of my favorites.

I don't play competitively, so I don't really mind stats or EVs a lot, I just look for pokemon that suit my likings.

I always felt nintendo should make a dark pokemon hero. I mean, it wouldn't hurt to change things into a story like this. A dark hero just makes games more badass in my opinion. At times I get tired of the same generic story of "child become the master". How about "Teen wanting revenge against "insert team here" and then as a final task fighting the elite four, where his mom is the champ maybe?

There is no day/night feature on FireRed/LeafGreen; you need to get them to evolve into Umbreon or Espeon on Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald. Though there's no day/night feature, there is a clock which is equally as effective.
