Yes I've downloaded the most recent only yesterday and it still had the same problems so I honestly can't work out the problem, although I do have a huge number of 'Hard Errors' being reported in a performance monitor

I have virtually the same set up as you with a 4850, Q6600 but overclocked and 4Gb of OCR DDR2 RAM but my game lags on all settings, even the lowest! Also Crysis Warhead automatically recomends the 'Gamer' settings :( can anyone HELP please ????????

If you overclock your Q6600 to 3,60Ghz (I've do it), you will play better at any games ;). Sorry for my english but i'm italian :p

The troubles are two:

Q6600 Unclocked so he lose 50% of performance.

The AA2 Enabled decrease performance of 20%

If it's recorded with fraps well i don't have to write anything.... FRAPS kill FPS :D

Hi sepp13011993! How many fps have you got on crysis? I have this config: amd athlon 64 x2 4800+ 2,5 Ghz 4 gb ram ddr2 corsair MSI HD4850 512 mb ddr3 My fps are: min 15 fps max 43 fps average 29 fps in 1280 x 1024 in high 0x AA That's normal? Thanks for your answer ^^

yeah i think so i overloced my 4850 and i get 35 fps on very high with 168*1050 but i always play with the alpha config

There is a lot of things that separates this version from the original one. #1 the NanoSuit is not that shiny. #2 The HUD is not the same either. #3 The Nano menu is not a circle it´s more like a square. The last thing is that the weapon inertia is so much overkill unless you are on a boat LOL.

gsp1995- your Rig will deffinetly be enough to rage Crysis on its high settings but in the future or atleast if you plan on overclocking anymore, I would strongly suggest in upgrading your PSU to a quality brand name 80% eff. PSU considering your CPU is at 3.4GHZ and im sure your 4850 isn't running stock clocks neither lol, also down the road you should invest in another 2Gigs of ram so your cpu is never straining for memory.

NP Brotha, your rig is still PLENTY powerful with alot of life left, dont just upgrade because you arent getting a zillion FPS in the newest games, you only need to get 32FPS for a smooth experience so As long as your comp is getting between 25-32 fps then your all set.

Besides the innacurate weapon inertia, I believe the game looks exactly the same.

No idea which animations people are referring too. The enemies' animations are exactly the same.

And by the way, that's not a pre-alpha build. That's a beta. The HUD was different in the alpha, let alone a "pre-alpha".

As far as I'm concerned, the title reads "pre-alpha style". Not : "this is the game in pre-alpha". Which, by the way, isn't.
