I agree with jimting666, what the hell do we want a nasa for? We've got enough debt in this country as it is without introducing more. The US pour billions into NASA, and what have they discovered so far? That there may be water on the Moon? That's alot of money to just work that out! Put the money to something more useful, like getting this country out of the red would be a start!

Yuca Mt Nuke Waste Site $22.0 billion (completly built but will never be used)

NASA budget 2009 - 17.6 billion

My point- get some perspective- 17.6 Billion is not that much. Hell we Cali alone spends 34.5 Billion/year on ROADS.

Hey crinoid I'm not saying never never, just not now. Look there's more money wasted in this country every year - yeah next years war's gonna cost another 2.8 + billion of the tax payers money (add another nought onto that again!) I'm into space exploration to a degree, I just don't think now would be a good time what with the huge deficit the Brown Party's got us in. If we could stcik him in a rocket and blast him into orbit - Hell, I'm up for that!!
