For anyone who ever wondered what is the hardest job in the Corps. It is being a Marine wife. Knowing that the one you love may not come home from protecting people who will never know his name or that he even existed. Semper Fi to all of those who keep the world moving and meaning something to HER Marine.
my baybee leaves on june 18 for boot camp & i am not looking forward to bc we graduate on june 9 & yet i still dont get to spend time with him which really suckss but i love him more than life itselff & i am willing to give up a lot just to be with him. i hope that after he comes home from boot camp that he will propose to me but i doubt he will for so many reasons. but ily & thats all that matters to me ily jae<3

Don't do that to your Marine, It causes them to lose the will to fight for themselves and every reason to throw caution to the wind since they have nothing to come back too.
@Covertmaddroxx1 i have the opposite case man. in my case he's havin all unlimited opportunities to cheat since he roams the world..xD..but i'm dealin with it since he's not with me and I try to accept it and be fine with it though its not...T_T..
@AmaranthFalcon You would be surprised, Yes you do have alot and I mean A-LOT of opportunities but If your marine loves you I can tell you, He wont ever touch another woman.
@AmaranthFalcon No no, He should love you and the distance if he is a good Marine just reinforces the love for you he already has. Semper Fi isn't just some latin saying the Marines adopted, in boot your taught Semper Fi in everything you do. and that most of the time applies to loving a woman also

Just tell your parents if they dont like him oh well you aint going anywhere. just stick it out girl. keep your head up and rememeber us marine girlfriends are strong oorah.

I'm a girl who loves a marine and I was in your situation before. I showed my dad what kind of man he is and that we love each other so much. My dad learned to like him and now my dad loves him like his own son..^_^..
my friend just told me his brother might be coming home next month...i really hope he does get home next month and all the other marines to if u r waiting for a marine to come home or anyone else fighting for us im praying for u<3

This so much describes my husband and I. He's off in Iraq right now and my biggest fear is that he wont be coming back home... My cousin isn't coming back and if PFC Casey didn't come home either i wouldn't be able to live with myself. I just want him to be able to see his first born... Anyone with any advice please give it..... I miss him so much...

One of the toughest jobs there is, Marine wife/girlfriend. Very touching. My fiance dumped me by letter while I was aboard the USS Tarawa heading towards South Korea. Found out she was sleeping around w/ a few other guys. I really can't express how much that hurt me. I drowned my sorrows with a bottle for a while until I got over it. Girls, stay true to your Marine. and if your going to dump him, don't do it while he's overseas.
