I made a video on how to make a script that'll do the command for you every time you log in. I even included step by step screenshots incase I was confusing.
When I put personal, non-system folders in the sidebar, their custom icons don't appear like they do within folders and in the dock. How would I go about changing that?
every time i restart the icons in finder go back to uncolored. can i make it stay the same after my computer restarts without having use use terminal and the command "killall Finder'?
i have the problem that after restart my Mac, the finder bar goes back to gray, so i have to kill the Finder each time to SMBL to load, is there a work around of this issue?
Thank you very much! This is a welcome usability enhancement.

You are the greatest man walking the earth today. Losing my sidebar icons was my #1 complaint about Lion. Thank you so much!
