Great vid. Hey Andrew, we know you love Japan but have you gotten to meet any Japanese girls and have you had a girlfriend or anything since you've been there?

A great question. Answer: Yes and no. I've met some Japanese ladies, but at the moment my focus is not on getting a girlfriend but on learning the language. Although these two things could harmonize, at the moment girls are represent a time and money suck that I'm trying to avoid. Also, in my rural area it is hard to get to know anyone especially woman my age because they just aren't used to foreigners and so generally avoid me.

I understand that. It is hard enough to pick up a girl and it is that much more hard trying to talk to a girl while sounding like a retarded foreigner. By the way, I am a teacher too and I really respect that you are doing this. If I didn't get married, I would have went overseas to teach as well. I think the experience would be so rewarding.

Ya, it is definitely awesome. At the same time, my long term plans envy your situation. I hope to eventually settle down with a wife and kids, but at the moment I just can't pass up this opportunity to "get my adventure on" (if you will) before stagnating somewhere.
