The couple in this spot are good friends of mine, and not only are they a real couple, they are a great representation of the independent thinkers here in Wyoming who embody traditional western values.
I'm glad to see someone trying to preserve the bipartisanship that has always characterized Wyoming politics and made us the unique state that we are.
Maestrohammer, that's a good point. We know, for example, that Wyoming people strongly favor the state providing health insurance for middle class children who can't afford it - and that's the Democratic side of the issue, but the Republicans consistently block expansion of the State Children's Health Insurance Program (SCHIP). Hopefully people will begin to pay attention and see which party genuinely represents their values.
