  • hey man, I haven't ever had a dog before and was considering of getting a rottie,

do you think its a bad idea?

  • he has a sweet eyes expression =)

  • rotties are very intelligent and obedient! =)

  • This is fantastic! I'm happy to see your puppy is so well trained! You've done a wonderful job!

  • he is still cute

  • "Leave it"

    Zeus " AH C´MON U MUST BE KIDING "

  • Man if ya can pls reply how did yu get ur dog to do tht i have two of the same kind :( i wanna learn how

  • I want a Zeus!

  • NOW SHOW ME HOW U DID IT?

  • My rottweiler won't even look at me when I talk to her.

  • He is a sooo beautiful Rottweiler ! My parents also had one but he died a few years ago :( Now i have a Jack Russel Terrier and she's soo lovely, but its not the same like the Rottweiler was :/

  • hahah watch at 1:32 his front paws are like sliding down across the floor very slowly its sooooo cute!

  • I adore rotties

  • awesommmee dogG!

  • I must have watched this vid like a hundred time already...but I can't get over how cute Zeus is. Esp. at the "leave it" command. He's got this look that screams "Must you do this to me???? Grh!" LOL

  • I love rottweilers. My ex and I had one together she was just like this. they listen so well! yours is gorgeous:) he looks so happy!

  • Rottweilers are very good dog one of the best trainability is very high like the German shepard they will kill for you if need be

  • Great video you have done a brilliant job training him. I especially like the bit where you put a biscuit on the floor and get him to wait. The look on his face is like - Don't be mean let me eat it!

  • You are one of the best Rottweiler owners on youtube, from what I have seen. You should be proud of your training and dog. He is a well behaved boy. I have had two Rotts so far and they are very smart dogs, ninth smartest breed to be exact. It's just too bad half of Rottwiler owners are lazy dumbasses who won't take the time with their dog that they should. They owe the dog at least that much, or they should not have them.

  • zues? thats alans daaawg, oh noooooooo! seriously though your dog rocks =D

  • it's not a REAL Rottweiler Tbh.. but its still a dog :)

  • wow good! my dog walkes away when i tell him to sit... how do you train them soo well?

  • Well congrats on training him so well...He is an amazing dog...i loved the part where he doesn't go for the food on the floor...i never saw that before (i mean training him to do that, not on his on will)...

  • wow. hes such a good dog. i want a rottweiler.

  • Beutifull dog..

  • Good job bribing your dog with food...

  • Perfect dude... just perfect

  • Great job with your dog. When my Rott was that young and I called him, he would have jumped over the counter. Don't ask me how I know that.

  • How old is your Rotty in this video?

  • You are a great trainer. And Zeus is beautiful! So smart. What a beautiful face! Thanks for sharing.

  • i have a one year old dog and my parents havent learned him a trick.its too late or what?and what sould i use?

  • It's never too late. I used clicker training which worked well for my dog.

  • @KAULAMANS I agree with 97texasol, I taught my dog tricks and trained her up until she was 12 years old. It is just recommended to train dogs when they are puppies because that is the stage when they can learn the most in a short period of time and the time when they "learn the ropes". But even that to can be taught later in life. Just teach with kindness, patience and you as the leader 100% of the time and you will have great success.

  • @KAULAMANS One year is still very young. They could easily learn tricks with patience.

  • A handsome and a obedient rottweiler he is:)

  • your rott's more obedient than my little brother :[

  • Animals are more obedient than human!

    Why?

  • WOW!! your dog is well trained. I just got my rot puppy today he crys alot but its ok. I hope to have mine trained like that 1 day.

  • Nice looking rott, he looks like just a few years old

  • i do the same but not release i say go or break

  • Ah he is super cute and I love that they docked his tail correctly, hate it when they are too long like a doberman! You should be proud you have trained your rotty well and more people should do that..too many stupid people own rotts who they make rotten! Pat yourself on the back!

  • that's how a real rottweiler looks , it's all about the temparament but the thing is that the training shouldn't be with the treat thing, thats a big mitake dude, can u see the dog keeps on staring on the treat...

  • He has got no tail. What the devil. Did he loose it? What can possibly be the reason for him not to have his tail, I wonder.

  • Some breeder cut their tails when they are puppies.

    It's for a "better" look.

In germany it's forbidden, so the breeders let do it in Holland.

  • I've also read that when Rottweilers were used as hunting dogs and herders that their long tails would often get caught on things causing them problems. So, cutting the tail would, of course, help eliminate that problem.

  • i have heard this as well. they were often used to hearding big animals, like cow sized animals. if i remember correctly the started "docking" the tails because the animals would bite their tails, or step on them.

  • @jrowe6 They started docking their tails when they were used for carting because their tails would get caught in the harnesses. That is why now we are seeing more rotties with their tails now because they are no longer used for carting except for pleasure, and show. And to fulfill their need for exercise.
