Historically the Devil has tried to destroy humanity not only with religion and philosophy, but also with genetic tampering. I've read Masonry esteeming Tubal-Cain who was a descendant of Cain. Interestingly, Masonry has much respect for the Serpent who freed Adam and Eve from the YHWH in the Garden. @gashyna Hello, I believe the context of this verse from Numbers may very well be that of snakes (or snake creatures like Nagas?); however, the context of Isaiah 6, verses 1-5 (not mentioned in this video but revealed in my Dragon video playlist about Isaiah) I believe are about something much greater than snakes having the ability to talk or sing the Trisagion to God. It's often times difficult to discuss facts with Christians because they look at it completely different and seem to have a hard time staying focused on dealing in only facts. One of the "facts" I've seen, is many people become "believers" after researching objectively and their faith seems to be much stronger than those who believe because they were taught. I was an atheist at 1 point. Not now.

Second, I believe that when a person becomes born again, that person cannot lose his or her salvation (John 3). This is how I define a Christian. Now I'm not saying it suggests that the serpent wasn't God's creation...(assuming the story's true) but not part of "that" particular creation. In the Sumerian texts they suggest the serpent people were very smart and definately "not from around here". Keeping the chances of a Genesis translation error in mind, it sounds like Genesis could describing the same thing situation. Then the comment about the blood line or "seed of the woman" and the "seed of the serpent" further suggests the divide.

I agree that the serpent (that is, a speaking Nachash type and not a garden snake) was not part of that particular creation. There is no mention of it being created in the preceding chapters found in Genesis (of the Bible).

Good job on research. Sometimes I wonder though whether or not we can trust the interpretation of some of the texts. IE: Genesis says "The serpent was more subtle than "any" of God's creation"...or "any" of the beasts of the field" but the word "other" is not in there. Why doesn't it say, "Than any of God's "other" creation or "any other" beast of the field"? Might seem like a minor detail but it could seriously affect the outcome. Seems to suggest the serpent wasn't even supposed to be there.

Yes, my interpretation is that the serpent was not part of the creation found in Genesis 1; it is a pre-Adamic creature and was created by God in a pre-Adamic world (on Earth). For example, consider these verses from Ezekiel 28 (using the hermeneutic law of double reference):
