To argue any one opinion, you must present facts that fortify your viewpoint. I support the Zeitgeist movement. Why? Look up "Bifurcation". A Resource based economy is the Egalitarian, sane, progressive outcome. The other is the NWO so many confuse.

My point was, if you disagree with the Venus Project, THINK and COME UP with something better. If your solution is rooted in the mechanics of nature (ie gravity, death and rebirth, ect), rather than subversion and manipulation of human imagination (money, state boundaries, religion, ect), then I'd love to lend an ear.

There are problems in our societies around the globe. A lot of these problems are direct or indirect consequences of our current economy politics. The Venus Project is proposing an alternative worth considering.

In order to have a constructive debate, I encourage you to explain what are your concern about this idea.

Machines will do the work most of the essential work in the Venus Project. The cost to maintain the cybernated system and its fail-safes is less than or equal to the per capita cost of an IT department in of any average business or corporation today. People who have a foundation to build on, can build their lives. People who don't, can't.

When they first introduced communism they made it sound just like that. Communism meant that there would be no more rich people... that there would be enough for everyone instead of a few people hoarding all the wealth... They made it sound just as good as Zeitgeist this is why people chose that system. But those in power get corrupted

@de225221 Jealousy, yeah nobody can completely eliminate that, but the good news is that leadership is a technical process. Most of the decision making can be automated based upon collectively designed and approved process. The machines only do what we tell them. If someone, acting on jealousy tries to insert corruption into the machines, it'll spit it back in their face, as per it's programming. Yeah, functional Artificial Intelligence. The Soviets didn't have that or enough food. We do.

As opposed to capitalism, its first interest is to develop an economy whose goal is human need. That is the first point. Second point, marxism (and communism) is based on a monetary system, which is not the case for the venus project.
