  • NICE video!

  • Dumb question.... is "Lone Pine" a reference to Back to the Future? :)

    Nice layout, though.

  • wow that is a nice video very interesting and! there is little station voices and rain effects and little things like that really make the video come alive! good work! keep it up!

  • Creative video. To bad the loco starts chuffing before it even moves.

  • sounds like the beginning of a Godzilla movie!

  • Very imaginative with the thunder and rain...have watched several times....thanks, love it.

  • nice rain i thought the screen broke

  • very nice

  • ya i run via and csx freight it would be nice to have an engine like that in n scale

  • Its cool and all but those engines for UP pulled more than 3 cars. It was about 10- 15 cars.

  • I really like this train! Especially the color. They didn't have it in N scale though.

  • Please tell where can I get your train station chatter from

  • I'm really impressed with the layout and everything, but I personally think you tried to over do it with the rain animations. If I'm the only one that thinks this I'll shut up

  • Please tell where can I get your train station chatter from

  • I love trains and that class locomotive would be cool to find in N scale

  • is that one of the broadway limited locomotives? or athern? i cant tell

  • Terrific video. I particularly liked the sound track. I believe that is the first time I've ever seen it rain on a model railroad! I'm impressed. - B.E.Y.

  • i am going to make a layout with my dad and we dont know how. any suggestions

  • Thats kinda sad dude. I feel sorry for you...

  • Y' know what is the only thing that prevents this video from being TOTALLY REAL? NO STEAM. A Challenger, I could guess uses a lot of steam, but not a single puff oozed out of the engine.

  • omg that is so cool

  • A very nice production, excuse me . . . I'm going to watch it a second time. Makes you realize we are limited only by our imagination. Unique.

  • Really nice. Might I say though that the engine, cars and buildings could use some ageing. Looks a little plastic (if I may)

  • Perete Crige. Hitler would be proud.

  • You got me with the rain! THAT was really original! nice job.

  • Impressive layout!

  • Challenger rules, but the rest......nahh...terrible. Overall I give it a C-. Sorry.

  • Nice Challenger!! and Nice layout also!!

  • VERY NICE LAYOUT AND VIDEO!!

  • awesome video thanks for shareing

  • Is that first challenger made by Lionel? 'cause if it is, then I have the same one.

  • Nevermind... I just realized that the smoke stack is different. Nice looking locomotive, though.

  • bad voices

  • The rain was a nice touch !! The futuristic voices kinda left me waiting to see a Johnny Cab pull up to the station though.

  • not a big boy, a up challeger

  • No fair mine took two hours to load!

  • Lets put a camera in the locomotive for an engineers point of view.

  • Nice. Very nice.

  • cool. nice sound effects and the rain cool

  • Fanstatic video. Real sounds real model like. Splendid graphics well done

    By Tom Scrivens

  • Excellent video!!!! I have the same loco, only mine's by Athearn Genesis, and I LOVE it!

  • The speical effects really add a special touch to this great video and layout. Thanks for posting

  • Great job! I really liked the technique with the hobo's campfire. :) I know...of all the things to coment on...lol. I've just never seen that done on any other layout before. I'd love to build a model railroad someday, but they cost so much!! Even a small, next-to-nothing layout can run close to $500. I can't even imagine what you've spent on yours.

    Nice set-up, nice video.

  • That was wonderful

  • Very spectacular layout. Congrats on such a remarkable job. Interesting though... to see Canadian weat cars on your layout with UP engines. hmmm. anything goes in modeling!! Great work!

  • DCC?

  • absolutely

  • You have more money in one locomotive than I have in all my rolling stock put together. At least you spent it on one of the prettiest pieces of metal ever put to wheels.

My wife and I saw the Big Boy in Scranton, PA a few months back. I believe it was #4012, but not possitive. The passenger version is quite a bit more attractive.

  • Wow, this is simply amazing!Congratulations and thank you... is that a Lionel?

  • Thanks for your comments. It is Rivarossi. I have added sound. Runs well and sounds good.

  • Train bit big for staion aint it?

  • Nice looking setup!
