"GOOD" third person would be like Command & Conquer Renegade. Little to no crosshair distortion, etc. - actually, TF2's is halfway decent. I've used it before in MP - the crosshair shows up and everything.

make a cheat type sv_cheats 1 and type thirdperson...it works for me....idk it works for you just test it...
