@aherrold Yeah, because Penn State definitely didn't take Neck after hearing LSU play the same exact arrangement at the Capital One Bowl, and LSU didn't get the idea of playing it from HBC bands. Penn State isn't nearly as original as you think.

@paciorka This has probably already been said, but the Blue Band's assistant director went to an HBC, so it's understandable that a lot of his musical influences would come from there. LSU is also a great school with an awesome band, but I doubt he ripped this off of LSU since he's been trying to introduce this cheer to the stadium since I was in the band about 3 or 4 years ago. He may have heard his own alma mater play it, though.
