TC 5400 ultra is rated at 2000RMS 8k peak and is regard as some of the best SQ subs out there. And in HT has better SQ then the JLs. Measured also pulls higher SPLs as well 130 db and more headroom with lab gruppen amps.

You don't know jack shit about car audio kid. Let me tell you why. RE and DD make basic subs as well as heavy hitters. Also, a basic DD or RE can't touch a W7 by size, but the XXX and 99xx and 95xx will knock the W7 out of the ball park. Also, not everyone wants just an SPL setup, some of us actually care about SOUND QUALITY, in which system balance is crutial, not just getting bass. So go fuck yourself with your horse shit son.
My 2 favorite subs in the world are RE MT or Digital designs.
Digital designs sounds great and there very loud i got 2 9512's in my eclipse right now and there hittin about 154.6 DB
RE MT's there much louder i hit almost 160.3 DB with them but there not for riding around listening to music like the DD's can do so once i blown them i went to DD's and i dont regret going to these
Oh and btw for everyone who said Fi..... JUNK! your lucky if they handle rms daily. RE on the other hand is decent. Best woofer they ever built is either the destroyer or the 05' series XXX. I hit 142 on TL with 1-12" 05' xxx.

Really. ive read this whole thing and you still aint answered the question i looked throught this whole thing for! WHAT SIZE AND TUNING IS YOUR BOX? I ran mine in 2.5@32, 2.5@36. All junk. I think this woofer needs about 3.5-4.5 cuft to unload properly. I will admit. Its prob one of the loudest subs ive heard but not the best SQ wise.
@quadraboy if you like discolored sound sure^^ a SQ p1222 (97dB 1w/1m) are 8dB louder (freeair yet) an cost a 5th of these haha and its recommended1000-2000watts!^^ the p1220br (p1224 chassis 94dB 1W/1m) are the the best enclosure 12" sub ever you can buy^^

spl: fi website again The BTL Series does what others cant. It allows you to tailor your subwoofer for your exact extreme SPL needs
