With the greatest of respect, your reasoning is wrong. If the white was already mixed with the red you would see a red tinge to the water where it arrives at the white spring. Which in fact you don't see. Also the chemical balance of both waters show they are not mixed. As you know the waters are tested regulary. They are completely independant, until they go underground again near the abbey.
