Not a bad attempt! It's the wrong font though. I think you're using Gill Sans in this one? Futura is probably closer. A bit jagged too, but nevertheless, good job :)

You can use Sony Vegas, but I used Bluff Titler to create the floating text, then Vegas to finish it off with audio and the blur.

Creating it with Bluff Titler, I can now easily change the words "LOST" to anything I want. So I can have my name for example, float in with the same effect as the LOST logo.

Not everything would think this is cool, but I liked it.

when i install and open the program it says it cant find D3DX9_34.dll

but i installed the latest directX 9.0c redist

i know there is a newer one but i cant install it cause

1. the newest one is for vista

2.even if i installed i have a pirated version of windows so it doesnt allow me to install

is there any way to make it work? can anyone help me please?

I love LOST and love Bluff Titler, so I wanted to see if I could recreate the LOST intro myself. No, it's not extremely hard to do, but it did take me a while. I can now change the text to whatever I want.
