  • Great work guys. The time compression is a nice effect. Try some cameras with video if you haven't already. Allows more study of behaviors.

  • This video makes my soul sing. Thank you so so so much!

  • This video...changed my life...THANK YOU!

  • would have been so much better with some color.

  • Spectacular! A video to be shared with all and thanks so much for the hard work to maintain the Game Cam.

  • awesome, thanks!

  • Was that a Wolverine @ second 142 ???

  • 1:42

    Da Fuk!?

  • That is awesome.

  • Very cool!

  • That is brilliant. Loved it! Thank you.

  • 1:42 - Chupacabra?

  • Some of those creatures look delicious

  • that was wonderful!!!

  • Impressive to watch the diversity of wildlife passing through the area.

  • Fascinating =)

  • Now that was cool! I enjoyed the hell out of it, thanks!

  • I cant get over this video, It shows the real beauty of our country and especially Alberta, Just the thought of being only being 2 and a half hours away from Banff makes me happy, This upcoming year I should be able to trek out that way more often and explore the beauty that is out there!

  • Lol...kind of interesting, the bears hunch along, the deer cautiously precede, the cougar stops for a nice statuesque silhouette in the dark , the elk -dignified- poses, and the mountain goats just look cute...ALL THE PEOPLE LOOK INTO THE CAMCORDER AND ACT LIKE THEY'VE DISCOVERED THE MOON HA HA HA. B

  • Its good to know that wildlife is still up in about. Lots of Goats and strangely lots of people in the winter.... >_<!

  • The traffic is ridiculous. You need LIGHT RAIL TRANSIT.

Seriously, thanks for a fun vid.

  • this was cool

  • the giraffe was cool

  • did that black bear just take a dear head in its mouth. the small thing all the birds were eatting looks like a dears head ...

  • That's the best video about life in Canada I've seen yet :-) Great job!

  • Who else did a doubletake at 1:34? Lol

  • @jasonkhlaw I'm sorry - why?

  • @tynzacmama...: It's a bear cub....

  • I LOVE this!! It warmed my heart to see all the animals living their lives without us. I prefer watching it in silence, the electronic music imposes our technological world on the wilderness.

  • Hi! Quick question! What is the smallish black animal around the 1:42 point? You can only see it the left corner and it is really fast. At 1:42. when the camera clicks, you can see it?

  • Comment removed

  • @tynzacmama baby sasquatch. or a bear cub

  • @tynzacmama A wolverine perhaps?

  • Is that biologist at the end one K Heuer?

  • This was really cool---the incredible wildlife diversity makes me want to move to Canada!

  • Pretty sure they meant revolution 'around' the sun. Cool vid though! ;-)

  • @DrSaxxy Thank you. You are correct! We changed the video description but can't change the text in the video.

  • Cool kitty cat at ca 1:27 ! Great video

  • Beautiful and really well done! Highly recommended!

  • That was awesome, thank you!

  • This is such an awesome video! That's a very busy spot and you all have lots of species up there. Are those black wolves I saw??

  • Love it! :-)

  • I miss my home land! England doesn't have the same wildlife...

  • Great video, I think I'll have an elk steak for dinner tomorrow.

  • 2:27 The goat explodes.

  • @TheBearMace I don't think I have ever seen a goat explode before... cool!

  • good to see this many animals!! and i only hope to see more, and less humans too.

  • oh boy, busy intersection! lol

  • Wow! Those little black dogs are ...wolves!

  • Very cool video, thanks for putting it together and posting it.

The real value of a video like this is that it shows just how much wildlife activity there is in one small area typical of the Rocky Mountain Parks - an area that if you were walking through (or even just driving by) for just an instant in time you probably wouldn't even give a second thought to. Makes you think that these areas are worth protecting, doesn't it!

  • I am sad for whomever put that dislike up there. Anybody disliking our planet or the uniqueness of life probably does not think deeply enough into the awesomeness of the chance we have to be consciously aware of the fact that we are alive and can contemplate on it. Life awesome.

  • The deers in the night are scary...

  • What a terrific video to share with the public. Looking forward to the next one!

  • What an incredible idea for an incredible video! No one would ever guess there'd be that much "traffic" in one stationary location over the course of a year. I'd sure give this a 5-Star Plus rating!

  • Amazing!!

  • So that's why I don't hike in the mountains - huge brown bears and cougars. Thanks for reminding me.

  • @thinkofwhy

because everywhere, at all times there are brown bears and cougars waiting for you to walk out of the parking lot....

  • sweet, but how come I didn't see nick or jane?

  • I would love to see a list of all the animals identified. :o)

  • @vperkins44 They are all your basic mountain wildlife. It isn't hard to pick out what everything is

  • WOW.....I really enjoyed that. Amazing footaage. Many Thanks.

  • Awesome!!!

  • This is one of the best things I've ever seen! Thank you so much for it :-)

  • wildlife video in black and white = fail.

  • Wonderful. !!!!

  • the guys that placed the camera really picked a great spot.

  • my fingers were crossed for a bigfoot

  • Amazing! Makes me miss Banff so much and I've only been gone a month :(

  • lions and wolves and bears oh my!

  • Dank.

  • It's amazing to see the diversity of wildlife that comes through that one spot. It's also be a bit scary to see so many cougars(?) and bears! Before I go there, I'll definitely want to learn about what to do if I see one!

  • Far out!

  • Amazing.

  • This spot is a couple hours hike outside of Banff. It is off of the main route, on a side trail in the back country between Banff and Canmore.(Sundance, Goat Creek area) I thought I recognized the spot right aways as one of the places I cross country skied this winter. It was neat to see, I was enjoying this movie, watching all the animals, then I watched myself ski across the screen! (March 8 at 12 - 1300. After the snowy moose, and before the cougar)

  • @whirlybird9 Very cool to see yourself!

  • Amazing!

  • Wow. Banff sure has a lot of wildlife.

  • Really Great Video, well done! I am a little sad that a Sasquatch didn't make a cameo though.

  • @duvzor I think he was one of the mountain bikers. ;)

  • @duvzor It's alright, there's often a sasquatch walking around Banff Ave

  • Does anybody know which trail this was on? Would be neat to hike along here.

  • hahaha i love how they come and fix the focus at 2:12

  • Very cool!

  • Wundervoll!!!

  • I found it appropriate that you would upload this on the summer solstice, since it is rather magical. :-)

  • Fabulous!!!

  • Wow! Just wow!

  • very very cool and amazing variety of wildlife both two and four legged

  • Wow! I'm going to watch this a few more times!
