  • Did john candy play uncle bill???

  • very well done awsome job i miss my mom when i see these tributes good work

  • Where's Left Eye? :(

  • @2losersinl0ve she is in part two

  • 75% of the people in this video died by "misadventure" Some just by "happen to be there" about 5% died by health related issues. Life is short, but actions can make it very short. Nice Video.

  • @toddadale very true

  • great tribute but corey haim is missing

  • @singinsmiley1 part two. this was made before he died!

  • Wasn't Sal Mineo the kid from Rebel Without a Cause?

  • Sonny Bono>>>what the wife beating alcholic...yeah right...a terrible loss

  • Where the hell is JUSTIN BIEBER??

  • Its a wonderful tribute. Thank you for putting Steve Irwin and Heath Ledger. Seeing their pictures put a smile on my face and tears in my eyes. RIP -3 i didnt know Billy Mays died!

  • Different people with different careers, different lives who died at different ages for differetn reasons. I didn't feel they were really connected. It would have been more moving if it had been people in the same profession or who died for the same reason.

  • @44032 sounds good, make it!

  • @44032 It doesn't make a difference what carrers they had or what age they were, They were loved by people from different generations. I love the video, thank you Zabriskiepointer for sharing this beautiful video and for the beautiful song.

  • Awww...I didn't even know some of these people were gone. Thanks, it was a lovely trubute :)

  • What a wonderful Video!

Although it is only 5 1/2 minutes long, it took me quite awhile to Watch.

I had to do some checking... I didnt know that about Heather O'rourke. What a Sad Tragedy!

Andy Gibb, Robert Urich, and a few others.

    Thanks for Posting!

    RIP

  • i'm extremely surprised roy orbison isn't here. There are some celebs here like Brittany Murphy and Liz Taylor which makes sense because of the upload date. But Roy was a superstar with hits such as 'pretty woman' and 'crying'. Just a little surprising!

  • Where the hell is Selena Perez-Quintanilla?

  • @Hanahleia calm down, she is in part 2

  • Comment removed

  • @Susi2584 Instead of posting this inane comment, you could've been looking it up for yourself. She was a popular sexy singer in southern U.S.A., she was portrayed by Jennifer Lopez in Lopez' debut film, and she was murdered at the age of 23. If she had lived, I don't think we'd have trolls such as yourself interrupting with inane comments, like, "Who the hell is that?!"

  • @Hanahleia but I really didn't know who she is...I looked up on Wikipedia to see..never heard of her...and I remember that film with Jennifer I just didn't remember it was that Selena she potrayed

  • @robotfreshpies why so serious? let's put a smile on that face :D

  • There are so many more!

  • very nice memorial

  • Gone too young? Audrey Hepburn had a full life and died like 90 yrs old. Why is she in there with the younger actors?

  • @aulloccasions1 where do you get your information? she died at age 63(5/4/29-1/20/93)

  • @ewsh6070 So sorry, my mistake. It was a figure of speech. I thought she was much older. No offense meant by that. She was a very good actress!

  • @aulloccasions1 no need to apologize! i just remember that when she died, she was fairly young, so i went over to Wikipedia. you did not offend anyone; i was just wanting you to have correct information: ) maybe you were thinking of Kathryn Hepburn, who lived to age 96?

  • this is so sad :(

  • Very nice! You should do a second vid.

  • elizabeth taylor,,tambien falta,,,,,

  • @ZuriiJoann Elizabeth Taylor lived very long...she didn't die too soon...

  • son muchos,,,pero faltan tambien leslie nielsen,amy winehouse,patrick swize,anthony queen,y brittany murphy.......de los que me acuerdo,,,,,

  • i almost expected the music to be.....Gone Too Soon- Michael Jackson......I mean it's what the song is about.

  • Jimmy The Rev Sullivan

  • Thnk you for Steve Irwin

  • Where is Lex Luger? R. Kelly? Jean Claude Van Damme? Macaulay Culkin? Tom Metzger?

  • I didn;t know Christopher Reeves and Elisabeth Montgomery had died

  • Very nice video.

  • good work here and i didn't know a few of the people at all or i didn't know they died of the ones i did know.

  • I didn't know Madeline Kahn passed away 12-3-1999, R.I.P. I love her work!

  • I would say Dack Rambo but he was not too well known. He died of AIDS.

  • @Fanik10 I remember him.

  • Andy Gibb was shown but his brother Maurice Gibb also passed away. RIP 2 Brothers Gibb.

  • WTF where's bradley nowell and jon bonham?!??!??!?!?!

  • My dad fought and died in Vietnam and where's his name in this video?!!!

  • @phambo101 Did you check the wall?

  • Good tribute but missing Brian Jones......

  • thank you for this honor video - It even means more with Michael Jackson - His voice is stilled but he will never be forgotten - His voice will always be missed.

  • What a great tribute, but WHERE ARE THE RAMONES??? :)

  • where's keith moon and oliver reed

  • Wood - Murdered by Robert Wagner

  • @sweetypie000 was she

  • @sweetypie000 Don't talk twaddle,it was obviously an accident.

  • @ElledieWildAndFree oic, that's because all these years ago they are having second thoughts ?

a woman who is terrified of water dosen't just drown AFTER a fierce argument,

  • Thank you for including George Harrison <3

  • michael jackson was a kiddie fiddler. after he recorded this song he probably raped a child somewhere.

  • You forgot Joey Dunlope, the King of the Mountain , 1952 - 2000, MBE and OBE .

  • I gotta take issue with some of your choices. Ostensibly, "gone too soon" implies that these people were in the midst of doing what they were known for. Kelly and Hepburn don't fit in here at all, since they had both retired from film. Earnhardt? Yes, it's sad he died....but he died doing something really quite dangerous and AVOIDABLE. Sonny Bono? Long retired from entertainment. And Anna Nicole Smith? Billy Mays? Hicks and Hedberg.... who? And Roddy M....he was 70! Why not James McArthur: 73?!

  • @calvintoronto You're certainly entitled to your opinion, but the "nit-pickiness" is extremely rude to the person who took the time to put this video together, especially considering the subject matter! Very nicely done, Zabriskiepointer (uploader). I appreciate the work you put into this project.

  • beautiful

  • yeah.they were not on there. but u cant get everybody ...so wilsonmjw2001 you make one and include them.. this one wasgood there were A LOT that i never heard of.. tanx s to an english professor iknow who james dean was !!

  • @84benfiquista nope was in Planes, Trains and Automobiles

  • @84benfiquista Yes, he was Gus Polinski the Polka King of the Midwest.

  • @buffalobraves9 aka kiss me polka..lol.yeah...didnt knew he passed away where im from sometimes this celebrities are not mention when they die

  • Gone too soon...

    Rest in peace Michael Jackson

  • Uh.. DIVINE gone too soon? more like not soon enough.

  • Nice video but where's Robert Shaw or Pete Duel??

  • OK, I saw Robert Shaw in pt. 2 - Thanks

  • Didn't see John Bonham. Drummer Led Zeppelin.

  • Where are Selena & Christopher Reeves? did I miss them?

  • MY MOM AND MY TWO BROTHERS ARE STARS TOO ME RIP

  • More than half of the people in here are people whose work I love. RIP all of you guys and girls! You're missed, and we love you dearly.

  • Ditch Billy Mays, replace with Patsy Cline :)

  • People all over the world die every day not everyone gets the 75+ yrs. We say it is a tragedy but it is really a reality . These are the ones that are recognised the celebrities ,musicians and movie stars.People in the Sudan die every day from HUNGER and MURDER not from drugs nor suicide. To all those who are still alive I hope you will consider You'r Own Mortality. Repent and come to the Messiah Jesus (Yahshuah) while you still have time before its too late.Time is not promised to anyone!

  • So Many famous people have died. Life is about 2 things.

Enjoying your life and surviving as long as you can. After that that is it.

  • Greg Louganis?

  • @mmaced as far as I know and according to Wickapedia Mr. Louganis is still alive!

  • @ZABRISKIEPOINTER

     You are right! My mistake.

  • @mmaced Greg Louganis is not Died.

  • Nice video! For the complainers, if they put in everyone who died, you'd have to leave your screen complaining that it was much too long! Some people are NEVER satisfied!

  • @cooldt thank you for that, I made a second video, but that was not good enough, now I just tend to ignore it, thank you for your sane and logical comment!

  • @ZABRISKIEPOINTER Nice job, brought tears to my eyes. I love Lizzy Montgomery, she loved to be called Lizzy. You worked hard on this and it shows, I sure this wonderful Actors and Actress and singers are looking down and smiling from heaven. Thanks again, from a Bewitched fan.

  • I so appreciate that you included people who died recently and people who died a long time ago. I'm glad that they aren't forgotten.

  • Very nice.

  • Beautiful!

  • Too many good ones gone too soon to be put on short videos.

  • Thumbs up for MJ, Elizabeth Montgomery, Freddie Mercury and elvis

  • Very well done

  • Wonderful, the song by MJ always makes me sad, you put this together very well. Thanks for posting and remembering not all but most of the great artists of all, thanks

  • good bye michael jackson........you are the best.......

  • Thank you, I will look at part 2. So I read a few more of the comments and it occurred to me that your critics mean nothing. Hell, the fact that you have critics tells you that people are talking about you so you are something to talk about. This is your art and you can put who you want when you want. Time is probably not really linear anyhow.

  • That was very well put together. Hey peeps, you can't get everybody that died in a five minute segment, stop whining and make your own tribute and try to do as good a job. You are appreciated, Zabriskiepointer.

  • @TheStephanieQueen you are now my hero, lol, thank you for that!...and btw there is a part two, for those that say I am missing people!

  • this is absolutly beautiful, brought tears to me eyes, thank you for posting. :(

  • @ericgiffly part two!

  • YOU NO WHATS IRONIC! THIS VIDEO WAS MADE A DAY AFTER MICHAEL JACKSON DIED!

  • I'm glad you put Kurt Cobain in this

every list like this should have Kurt Cobain, John Lennon and Shannon Hoon

    who agrees

  • Great slide show. But I have to say, the song didn't fit the mood of the pictures. Sorry.

  • I so loved River Phoenix :-(

  • Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett died on the same day (June 25, 2009 aand Patrick Swayze died a short time later on September 14, 2009. Why was his picture not included in this lovely memorium?

  • Thank you.

  • Wht's the deal!!!!!! Where is the most know singer, "Selena" For she was a most missed person!

  • @acarnivorous she is in part two, check it out!

  • @acarnivorous nobody gives a shi@ about her

  • Wht's the deal!!!!!! Where is the most know singer, "Selena" For she was a most missed person!

  • I still like watching movies from Natalie Wood, Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly. Those ladies were beautiful :)

  • Sorry for being so ignorant but who was Chris Penn? Based on the looks and the name, he was related to Sean Penn, but I never saw him. Allthese people are missed. But, to be completely correct, is ther anyone who id dead and who hasn't gone too soon?

  • @christopher242424 He was Sean Penn's brother.

  • man these compilations are depressing but fascinating at the same time.

there's something unnerving about famous people dying too soon.

  • lets not forget gerald levert

  • If you all watched this closely River Phoenix is the second picture. Where is Days Of Our Lives Frances Reid Janet Leigh And Anthony Perkins? Great video anyway thanks for posting.

  • @scrowfan41 Frances Reid lived into her 90's read the title of the video!

  • Comment removed

  • @ZABRISKISKIEPOINTER, you missed a lot of others such as Jim Henson, River Phoenix, Raul Julia, Notorious B.I.G., David Strickland and Tim Russert. Great tribute, though, thanks for posting!
