I really gotta admitt, Alphonso is the realist. I tried for thre days to fix my iphone. I watched over 100 videos and none of them actually work right. This one worked just fine. I'm having a serious problem. When I connect my iPhone to iTunes my iPhone screen is showing the iTunes icon, and arrow pointing up towards the icon & a USB cord. It will not go in normal mode & it will not come out of recovery mode. I have already tried pressing power & home at the same time. Also when the iPhone was given to me it was updated to 2.1, I don't know if that makes a difference but the iTunes 7.5 will not recognize my iPhone even if I delete the ITL file.

yo this guy knows his shit lol, but if you keep getting error 20 it means your phone is not in DFU u need to hold both power and home for 10 seconds then realease the power and hold home for 10 seconds if you do not do that you WILL get error 20

Hey Everyone, Alot of people are getting stuck at putting the iphone in normal mode in ziphone, but for those with this trouble, install the firmware twice... just make sure you are getting error 1015 twice around.. and then try ziphone normal mode it should work....

hmm.. Do u get the error 20 after you tryn to upload 1.1.4 or before when you are hard resetting the iphone, because after u release the power button, you have to continue to hold the home button for 15secs...

Ok, Well i had this happen to me as well with gettin the error 20, i have gotten all types of errors, try starting up itunes again and Ziphone, once you do that, Hard Reset your phone. Hold down power and home buttons together. When your screen goes out, release the power button and continue to hold on to the home button until itunes detect that you are in restore mode. Hit ok in itunes, Then Hold shift and click restore and run the 1.1.4 firmware again. After that you should get error 1015

You want to put that the library in a  another folder, make sure you back everything up, music, tv shows, etc, and put them in a place where you can find them
