Before Ainge, Chris Wallace was the GM and he screwed things up. Trading away JJ was one of them. I think he was around when they traded Billups as well. Imagine a Billups/JJ/Pierce/Big Al team.

They traded Billups before they knew how good he would be, and I think Billups is one of the biggest impact players in the game - doesn't put up huge numbers, but look what happened to Denver as soon as they got rid of AI and got Billups (and look what happened to Detroit).

@vincentvega722 Billups was awful at the time, and JJ was just a backup, he managed 6ppg on 20 mins (and on ghastly percentages too), that's horrible! In hindsight and with knowing how they've grown it was a bad idea, but at the time they were garbage too.

Whatever lol, So will Billups and he use to be a Celtic also. Their management really dropped the ball on some very good players.
