@terimccarthy Have you totally forgotten that Obama and his advisors want a "civilian counterpart" to our national security forces? It would be like a Federal militia that could more easily get around Posse Comintatus, which forbids the military being deployed to act as police.

Only this wouldn't be a real militia, one used to defend the states, it would be an insurgency force to threaten the People into bowing to the Federal Government's demands.
