Manager Nils. the customer is the lowest form of life at least here in black river falls, WI. alot of people have a job like this because they can't get one any where else like in my town. my options are be unemployed or work at walmart. if youve ever been here you'd know that. but since its so small you probably have not. but i digress i hate customers and my job and i understand why hes so pissed...ps today i actually quit my job..(which he did mention he did)

Well said! I was paid well below minimum wage at my grocery job, lied to and treated like shit by my managers and had to put up with some of the dumbest people asking me where something was and then making a call on their cell phones before I could get to the aisle it was located in. But I'll be damned if I didn't gave a smile on my face and tried to help people. Stupid or not, unless you're outright abusive to me, I'm here to help!

that was after their profits loss of 2006. and pretty muche verything was upside down in the company. the place i had loved working at so much, was so different. i dont have anything against teh company, i'd work in the photolab again. that was a riot. but whatever. you did a good responce... minus the profanity. you shoudl respond to more of my videos. i mainly record them to crack myself up...

hey dude, for some reason the responses of my videos do not notify me... so i'mlate getting back to you on this. i updated my "info" on that video because i did quit, like 2 weeks later. i got a job at a call center sitting on my butt for 2 dollars an hour more. so whatever. my first job as working the tire and lube, and it was great. i worked there for liek 7 months. but then i moved 3 states over to be closer to my fiance, and get to know her faimly as well....

when i moved there i got a transfer, but ended up in teh photo lab... i got payed almost freakin NINE BUCKS AN HOUR. to stand there and develop pictures. that RULED. not to mention the occasion nudey pic that cam through to, an added bonus for a somewhat monotonous day. heh. and i did help the customers with both of these positions... in my department. if someone asked me about lawn and garden... my guess is as good as theres. i would try to help...

I couldn't agree more with you about the IPH thing.. It also drives me crazy to hear the cashiers bitching about wanting to go home when they've been there for 2 hour.. Maybe once in a WHILE, but c'mon.. every day? And, even then, they're OK with 300, and the laugh at the effort of those of us getting 700+.. It's annoying beyond reason.

But I do think he was just stressed when he made that video..May be that he hasn't had a chance to calm down..It's all circumstantial..

I wll say that some customers are VERY rude and think that because you have the uniform on, that you can do ANYTHING they want, and that you should. I dont work for Walmart 24/7 and on my breaks, and lunch that shoul dbe my time. Not time Walmart should automatically get. Scheduleing SUCKS! It also sucks when your break is 1 hour late and lunch is 30 mins early! Thisis why they can't keep cashiers. Most cashiers at my stire get 400-500 iph. I hate my job, but I need money..... Yeah....

Please, if you are going to comment, use a little common sense. First off I am a customer at times and I work for the company. I believe that the customer is number 1 and this is an idea that I would hold no matter what company I was working for. I work in IT for a company that makes all terrain forklifts and I treat my co-workers with respect.

The video was more about calling carts "buggies". I actually usually call them baskets (even though the baskets are technically the hand baskets). The video is about a guy complaining about customers and again I ask why does this guy work in a customer service position if he can't handle the customers?

Sam Walton is dead and has been for over a decade. I am not naive and I believe that there are problems with the company that need to be fixed. However my video wasn't about the company I was responding to a rant by an employee who isn't happy with his job and my guess is he is the kind of guy that wouldn't be happy no matter what he is doing. Wal-Mart isn't to blame for this dude's lack of customer service skills.

Wherever this guy goes to work he is going to encounter people who seem to be ignorant. I work in IT when I am not at Wal-Mart and I have co-workers who cannot figure out the easiest of things. I don't make rants about these people on YouTube because I get paid to help these people. As a cashier I am paid to be a speedy checker and make sure that my customers get what they need and that is what I do.

Walmart employee's never help customers. I experienced bad customer service in every walmart in my area. Thats why walmart employee's dont wear the blue vests that say "how may i help" on the back. Because they NEVER help! I agree with the part about how employee's who don't care shouldn't work there but either way most don't ever leave. I wish more people would provide more customer service in walmart.

Ugh... As a Walmart employee that's not true at all. Yea, maybe some employees aren't as helpful as others, but they're not total asses as you think. Sometimes we have bad days, it happens to all of us. And from my experience, it's the customers that are the rudest people alive. They take their frustration out on the cashiers/employees that are just doing their job! Work at Hellmart and you'd understand. Truely.

I have worked at Walmart for 2 days and the place treats employee's like shit. Im all set! Also when you work in Customer service jobs you are not supposed to take your anger from a past customer to your next customer. If you cant stay positive in a customer service role then you should try elsewhere for employment. Sorry just the truth.

I will agree there are a lot of non-helpful people. The biggest problem is that Wal-Mart doesn't pay the greatest amount so getting quality work isn't the hardest. I will certainly fault Wal-Mart for this but I will also say that even those who are working there even if they dislike they job should help the customers. However, come to store 1254 in Bellmead, TX and ask for Steve and I promise you that you will be treated with the most respect and get the help that you need, if any.
