J. Randal Price, the guy who financed this whole fiasco, came forward today with an email that explains and debunks everything. Look up "Searches for Noah's Ark" on Wikipedia. It turns out that the footage from inside the cave is at least half a year old and all that wood was intentionally placed there.
Seriously, they find some cleverly placed lumber late last summer and then wait until now to claim 99.9% certainty that it's the real thing? Creationism has sunk to a new low.
Thanks for the info! I was certain they hadn't found "Noah's Ark," but I was sort of hoping that it was an old cabin or something that would be of archeological value. I guess you can't expect Creationists to even accidentally do any good.
especially since this is the 3rd socalled ark this group has claimed to find- everyone has been disproven- by the way they wont disclose who did the carbon dating - in fact recent dating puts it at about 800-1000 years old at the most
