  • Im a huge Yankee fan growing up in California. the first time i got to see the Old Stadium i thought he was a crazy old amn. I got to pound on his pan without knowing that man was the biggest part of Yankee history. Looking back im thankful for meeting him. Im only 15 and i was 10 at the time. RIP Freddy

  • I was able to bang on that pan many times. Freddy was part of Yankee Stadium, both the old and new. Rest I'm peace Freddy. I'll never forget you. But make sure you meet all the angels in heaven so they can tap your new pan up there.

  • Great video. Cano seems very friendly. Never got the chance to meet Freddy in all my 18 years going to Yankee Stadium. God bless the old fella, I hope the Lord has a nice place set up for him to bang his pan in heaven.
