  • thanks man!! great video!

  • How do u uninstall backtrack?

  • @bogeyty1 Presuming that you installed backtrack to the hard drive as shown in this tutorial, you simply delete the partition on which backtrack is located.

  • hey man thankx for this great video.....

I just wanted to ask u that can we install backtrack side by side with windows xp...???

    need your review....

    Thnx in advance... :)

  • @lamrin2 Yes you can, it's called dual boot. Go to the website and it'll be explained over there

  • you idiiot ! You forgot to write the most important thing! In the console, to run the GUI to perform, need write - STARTX . Your video - useless!

  • @Telobelton To begin with, I recommend you read a book titled: "How to win friends and influence people" - might help you in life. As for the comment, if you listened carefully you would have heard me type "startx" and also instructed the viewer to do so. This process was not illustrated correctly due to the screen recorder not catching all the frames. However, this process was illustrated in the last tutorial which I clearly stated should be viewed before proceeding with this one. Peace

  • Partitioning doesn't erase my hard disk's data,right ?!

  • @prasennavenkatesh It's the process of splitting the hard drive into smaller parts (theoretically). Just be careful to avoid any prompts which may ask you to erase the partition.

  • hey spooky i am installing backtrack from usb by (unetbootin) when i start it on

    "start backtrack framebuffer (1024*768)"

after it a console bar opens with something like

    "initframes" what to do?

  • how to connect the hard disk in backtrack4 r2

  • Using this method are you still able to boot with vista from the boot menu?

  • @theultimatecrupe No, what your proposing is known as Dual boot which will be covered in the next video

  • hey could u maybe explain how to do it with manual creating partitions ?

because i have tryed the guided option but i keep getting an error message

with that it fail to create a swap space in the partition

  • @dskkk Ill post a tutorial on the website soon on manual creating partitions, may not do it in a video

  • hi i keep having probs with my interface, and how do you keep setting saved?

  • @15hoddie What settings are you trying to save

  • when's the next vid coming out?

  • @MrFragallnoobs In the next few weeks, sorry for the delay

  • Greatly appreciate it =) my persistent usb took a shit on me so this is going to be my alternative.

  • @seldian No problem

  • this install is to the VMware...not to the HDD...ok then, i installed it on VMware, but i cannot access wireless connections...do you know anything about this?:D

  • @panoslibe Since it's a VMWare Disk Image, the actions and installations procedures are still the same. You also posted previous comments regarding a dual boot install? As for this question, you have to connect the wireless via the small icons in the VMWare window llocated on the bottom right
