I actually have a teacher, whose daughter and husband were killed in that crash. :[

this was a horrific day here in Western NY, and i remember getting the news from my dad telling me some of his old high school friends were on that plane. as well as my old high school friends sister. their families are still in my prayers

Doubtful if there is any time to feel pain. Most probably panicked and tightened but probably some of them just let go. When you see death coming, you might have a second to decide if you will panick or not if your very lucky. But what a beautiful thing to look death in the face and say I love you. It is only us who are left behind that suffer anymore. I have compassion for their families and friends. I hope to see death and embrace it when inevitably near. Just a feeling. Love instead of Fear.
