  • 6:05 well, maybe the controls made him struggle. 7:52 The hostages have been killed. You lost the match. 8:20 ...I tryed shooting with a BB gun, and I sucked, despite countless hour in shooters... Give me a bow, and I will have more chance to hit my target. ...I don't know any games that rewards points for Headshots. .... And in certain games, I am used to shoot the head, because of zombie games.

  • According to federal crime statistics, the rate of juvenile violent crime in the United States is at a 30-year low. Researchers find that people serving time for violent crimes typically consume less media before committing their crimes than the average person in the general population. It's true that young offenders who have committed school shootings in America have also been game players. But young people in general are more likely to be gamers — 90 percent of boys and 40 percent of girls.

  • shut up and stop having a sook a agree with hovsep56 wth?

  • what do they want us to play hello kitty ? aw hell no!!!

  • Hahaha they tried to make a point of saying that Doom 3 caused that psychopath to shoot people in the head because you're rewarded for doing so. That isn't in Doom 3.

  • Half Life 2 oh no you didn't

  • 2:30 - "were going to have realistic exit wounds!"

  • My friend isn't allowed violent games and he lashes out SO much. I however, channel my feelings into the game, while my friend has to keep it bottled up, meaning he gets angry more than me.

Adults just try to eradicate every new thing. Rock music was dissaproved of by the older generation, so were various other things.

And it's not like the human race has ever been peaceful. Be realistic, violence is part of life. But personally, I can kill virtually, but I couldn't kill for real.

  • Seriously? This is pathetic, this is like saying reading a book about monsters and such would have the same effect. ITS FICTIONAL, GET IT? F.I.C.T.I.O.N.A.L!

  • I'd let my kids play violent video games and if the wife said no then I'd slap her in the face with my dick.

  • @DeusUniversitatis XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD That was Funny :D

  • NO THEY FUCKING DONT YOU DUMBASS BITCH GO FUCK YOURSELF DUMBASSES NO KID WOOULD TRY THIS IN REAL LIFE SEE THIS IS WHY IVE GIVEN UPP ON SOCIETY PEOPLE JUST DONT THINK

  • WTF YOUR TALKING ABOUT KIDS PLAYING POSTAL 2 wait wut are children going to find this game heres your answer no

  • 0:57 battle field 2 epic and bad compony 2

  • I'm not biased like those under my comment. I think they make some good points, and since I'm doing a project about this I think they did a good job.

I think it reflects on parenting for the kids though. Half of them have no idea what they buy for their kids

  • Thats why theres... COUNTER STRIKE FOR KIDS!!! YAY

  • THese people really are talking out there asses, why dont they complain about alcohol, drugs, bad justice systems, books movies. They all contribute to violence if they make this argument! Its easy to blame video games.

  • If we want a good army we should recruit all the crazy FPS fans!

  • @SadWorld1000 Eh, most of them are lazy, and would take a few years to train.

  • You can tell the people who make these claims have never played a video game in their life.

  • well all know why these violent killings happened bad parenting and or very depressed mental state/insanity of a person

a normal person knows the diffrence between reality and virtrul reality

  • @halloweenfan92 Agreed if a good parent teaches there kids what to do and what not to do kids should be able to play violent video games, plus if its just blood and crap eventually their kid will see blood...

  • see the way the media puts things into its favour is it will say something completely irrelevant to the crime but still put it in there to make is seem relevant. this is shown with "7 year old gets into fight after playing halo 3". the two things are likely completely unrelated, but since whoevers writing the article doesnt like video games, hell do that to put it in his favour. if i didnt like donuts, i could say "rapist attacks after break at donut shop".

  • Video games are any worse that TV or movies? I think not. The responsibility of keeping mature-rated material away from children falls on the parents. Anyone who screams "BAN IT" is all for shirking personal responsibility. There is media made with adults in mind. We shouldn't have to suffer because some people just can't say no. I've played video games since I was thirteen and I'm actually very wimpy, really.

  • i get the fact that it damages the brain but there is a way of preventing that. all u have to do is just get it what i mean is know its all for entertainment

  • fuck you all who want to prevent violent games!!!

  • yeah computer games are so violent my 8 year old son, froze someone with ice that can out of my sons hands and then he ripped the other boys head off with his spine still attached to his skull

  • @painsey i think you mean he was playing mortal kombat as sub-zero and you sir are stupid

  • @bissanick and your an idiot, go back to playing Mario

  • @painsey lol i love how you dont want your kid to play games like that but yet you make playing mario a insult dumbass bitch

  • @bissanick Mario is gay

  • yes violent video games may make some kids violent but theres other kids that are messed up from the start thats what makes them do things like that dude did c me point?

  • i love games with guts on a wall and much blood but in life i cant stand blood, i strart to get sick, so if someone start shooting in school, its cuz someone hurt kid not cuz he want to play real fps.

  • like supersize me made me want a bigmac. this just rlly makes me want to play on an fps game

  • This clip is from the Discovery Channel's "Gamer Generation", episode 1, in case anyone was curious and wanted to see more. A lot of the rest of the episode was in support of gaming.

  • this is the biggest bullshit ive ever seen

  • so there saying fps tend to cause more anger not start a fucking gun shoot out that is the fucking humanbeans fault that kid must of had something fucked up in his brain i have played fps gta alot of my life and i do agree it dose cause anger issues but not to the point to where i want to kill someone or go insane

  • true

  • Idiots, of course violent video games don't directly cause violence.

It has been scientifically proven that violent video games cause aggression. It's a fact. It probably won't make you run around with a gun, but it is possible that you could be more prone to violence.

You guys don't get the point of the video at all.

  • @wiiisthebest video games are like any violent action movie. After a guy sees it, he feels like a total badass that can on the world. So if video games make people more prone to violence, why aren't people constantly complaining about action movies either

  • wow so if i play bioshock. im going to go on a killing spree and kill people by shooting lighting, fire, etc out of my hand? yea these guys are dumbasses. my first violent game was MK2 and i was only 4! (i wasnt around or dont even have a somewhat better grip on controllers when MK1 was first release) and i know the diffenrt b/w virual and reality. but fuck man. of course boy/guys like things go bomb were fking guys not pussy ass b**** as all of those anti-violent video game people.

  • These people are simply dumbasses.

  • isn't it ironic that there's only been a few releated crimes commited by gamers, i mean the newest GTA sold over millions of copies, yet nothing near that number of people have commited a crime, murder, etc

  • How do you not play anything agressively?

  • This is so fucking retarded. I play Halo, Postal, Half-Life, Battlefield, and it has no affect. It's a fucking game, people who believe that they can do that are probably stupid with such a low IQ. Now yes, it does bring some attention to people wanting to do that in real life. Besides, people who play these games may/or always have, wanted to use it as a way to feel like they have the upper hand. Without games like these we would be unable to open our minds to other faiths and beliefs, retards.

  • @supersonichalofan Exactly. I'm a 12 year old. I play Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, and in case you don't know, it's a very violent and controversial video game. Do I wield a gun in the public shooting people? No. I'm not a dumbass. I, like many other people my age are old enough to differentiate the difference between a game and the real world. Besides, how many children have been inspired by a game and have actually killed someone? Just a few. That's not a lot.

  • @MyVideoHubOnDell yup, a while ago, my parents couldnt even ponder the thought of letting me own an M rated game, but unlike the stupid little weak minded idiots that adults think we are we actually have a high enough IQ to know that in a game, there's no life changing consequences that there are in real life. so if we know that, why the hell do adults think we are gonna actually attempt anything we see in a game? im 14 and my parents let me get any game that doesnt involve sex

  • anyone has a semtex?i want to kill not one,but those degenarate assholes that think persons have such a weak mind to get influenciated by a stupid video game,i hate you all, adults suck, thiey think they can control our future and know whats better for us,thank god i am 21 and control myself.

  • in most games u cabt hit a cop with a shovel lol

  • "candy for a troubled soul" ok, then we should first discover what caused a paticular individual to be troubled to begin with & not simply blame violent media. A game is a game. in order to prevent a person with issues from going "POSTAL" you'd have to lock then away & allow them no stimulus at all because it's psychologically impossible to predict what material will send you "LOCO" & simply focusing on violence is in-valid.

  • @mackychloe i like postal,the game series

  • @type87randomXD i've never actually played them, i don't think they're aloud in the UK?? ......They do look like fun tho'!!!!

  • i don't know which to be more surprised at, the fact that the boy killed so many people, or that he got all headshots.

  • What games are those? I need to get them!!

  • @smokester74 The sniping clip in the beginning is from Counter Strike. It's a PC game but it's not free :(
