Nice car man, but your low hp #s come from shitty stock heads and lower intake. P+p those and get another 40-50, add a cam and up the boost to 9-10, should be a 300+ car easy. The real problem comes from the tranny and rear end at that point. Nice ride, check out my gt.
im getting a 2000 mustang v6 all black soon i cant wait mustangs are my dream cars so its like a dream come true even tho its a v6! but i was thinking about putting twin stripes now the middle like that and then a stripe on each side like you did and have them cut out the word mustang on the little stripes under the door what do you think?
also (sorry to double post) you should invest in some long tube headers, those shorties aren't doing much for you and with that supercharger, the long tubes will do wonders for ya. Just my 2 cents :P not trying to insult by saying your hp seems a bit low, just was curious about some things ^.^
@datroman1 it is a bit low. the tune is conservative because i do not want any issues with motors blowing up. it seems to be a reoccuring theme around here lol...i don't have gear and a t-lok, just the stock drivetrain.
@Empire1128 I got it on 3.8mustang.com (now 3.7mustang.com). This is a custom kit that was pieced together. However, Vortech does not make kits for the 3.8 Mustang anymore, only Procharger is left. However if you check out the v6 forums, 3.7mustang.com and v6power.net, there is always someone trying to sell supercharger kits. That is probably your best bet to finding a used one.
@MrANTMAN010 Thanks the full Vortech kit was 3100, with tuning and other miscellaneous parts the whole thing cost almost 4k but I installed it myself to save on labor prices.
nice mustang, but no matter what you do its still a V6. should have swapped a 4.6 instead of that super charger.
