@Chickov Palestinians didn t exist in 1948. It was A BRITISH COLONY for your information. The only ones who fought to end this colony were the jews. The ARABS did not fight. Arabs, Jews and Christians living in the British colony were all palestinians. The term Palestinians did not come until 1967, when Arafat used it to try to legitimize his war.

but the history you assume for Palestine is in fact wrong. The Palestinians are not descendants of Roman conquerors. The whole array of ethnic groups (Canaanites, broadly speaking) have been there for thousands of years. Palestinians are decendants of those who had been there, Canaanites and Jews. People shouldn't lose your land because they changed their religion!
