F Barre Chord is pretty easy you just need tp practice it A LOT. I just can't do C cuz it hurts a lot and i find open chords easier tho i didn't understand this with C chord :S

When i first started playing years ago I was and still am a huge Sublime fan so I learned all of there songs and just about all there songs Bradley uses bar chords and a bunch of different variation of chords. You can play a ton of songs just using open chords but if you want to broaden your choices your going to have to learn bar chords, I think bar chords are probly used more than open chords.

to play the F chord -> make the e chord form using pinky, ring finger and index (basically play the e chord), move all your fingers up one fret keeping the e chord form, and bar the second fret with your first finger.

@MushroomHello It's the tab for a C Major Barre chord. (the number is the fret, the position of the number is the string. e.g 6th-5th-4th-3rd-2nd-1st

Barre the 8th fret with your index finger, and make an E major shape with your middle, ring and pinky fingers.

or to explain it in detail, index finger (first finger) across each string 8th fret, middle finger on 9th fret, 3rd string (g string), ring finger on 10th fret 5th string (a string) and pinky on 10th fret 4th string(d string).
