This is truly brilliant! If anyone ever had the right to sing this song, it was Judy! You channeled her perfectly. It was just as if she was right there singing it! Bravo!!!!
I loved Shirley MacLaine's version in Postcards from the Edge, but this blows her away! (Sorry, Ms. Maclaine!) I can picture Ms. Garland performing this, through the artistry of Jim Bailey! Mr. Bailey - this was genious!
its nice to post this, however an injustice video wise...too far away..can't see the wonderful face...more close ups we do not need to see the orchestra...thanks
Never will forget Jim Bailey doing I'm Still Here at The Cinegrill as it is a perfect tour-de-force to do that Judy sadly missed...Bravo to Jim for his brilliant Judy Garland concerts over the years where he literally brings Judy back for an evening and I have luckily experienced many of these wondrous events!!!
If any song could epitomize the life of Judy Garland, on and off the public stage, Sondheim's "I'm Still Here" fits the bill, especially with several lyrics very subtly and appropriately changed to reflect Judy's life. This is Judy's ultimate torch song celebrating both her private struggles and public triumphs. The irony, the song was composed after Judy's demise; this triumphant rendition is lovingly created by Jim Bailey whose masterfiul tribute reminds us why Judy remains a shining beacon.
You see Jim, Judy gave you these words because I think she really wanted to say these things. You are just incredible. Wish you and Judy would come to Denver and perform. It would truly be highlight for me!!! Please keep going!! A true fan, William
That's another reason to appreciate & experience the magic of Mr. Bailey. Once while he was performing at the Hollywood Roosevelt's The Cinegrill he had Judy perform, That's All I Ask Of You from Phantom of the Opera...it's as if Judy is still with us thanks entirely to the Mater of Illusion, Mr. Jim Bailey

Great song for Miss G. Too bad she left us before it was even written; all the more thanks to Jim Bailey for channeling her for us.

He is a fantastic singer and sounds almost like the real Judy Garland

Uncanny, especially since, as far as I know, Judy never sang this song, so there's nothing to mimic. Inspired. Thanks!

She couldn't have, because she died in 1969 and the song wasn't written until "Follies" in 1971.

The only thing I can say is- "WOW"! I still have goosepimples. That tune is a song Judy would have tackled had she lived. Just superb. Thanks.
