  • at 2:53....so amazing!!

  • what baby?

  • gives me the chills....

  • i like the sign language...

  • wow!! amazing!

  • I have seen her grow in gospel music. She toured her More than Wonderful album. I was captivated. Her study of Opera and voice rose the level of gospel music to major stages around the world. I also understand that when the voice reaches a certain age those notes of our youth are not as strong. Look at the great operatic coloratura's. Dame Joan, Dame Kiri, Beverly. All retired mostly by 50. I ook forward to the next "voice of an angel."

  • Sandi is older now !!! and she had children so her voice does not carry as high like the old days !!!! but still awesome voice !!!!

  • I have been a HUGE Sandi Patti fan seems like for ever and this performance was like all the rest....Extrodinary!!! How ever, I must agree with some of the comments, the arrangement was not its best, but let's remember that she's dedicating that performance & song to a dear friend of hers Dottie Rambo. So for her to "cut loose" is not really expected. But she looks amazing! She dropped a few pounds and looks really Good! I Love U Sandi!!!!

  • Sandi's supposed to be in Jacksonville, Florida in September...

  • I just love Sandi!!! she has such a big voice.. hard to believe that she is such a huge star but so down to earth in person!!! Ive known her since i was like 14!!!

  • Thanks to my friend Warren I have become aware of Sandy. She needs at least 70 million more sales to surpass the Gods of Thunder AC/DC

  • LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this lady, but this performance...her voice just sounds "tired" to me...anyone else notice? She nails the note at the end, but she's "pitchy" all the way through, and seems to have more difficulty moving from chest register to "head" voice. Of course, maybe it's just nerves...after all, this was a big deal for her, with 30 yrs. in Christian music. Not meaning to be critical, as I always love Sandi, but this just doesn't seem up to par with her vocal abilities to me...

  • I believe it is a combination of bad music arrangement as well as the fact the next evening she was diagnosed with pneumonia and had laryngitis and had to cancel a performance.

  • I thought it was just me, it's like she has lost her chest voice, she sounds breathless. But then she gets the high notes with ease? Strange

  • her voice doesn't seem in best condition on this video... ike she's hoarse or something. But that high note is a note she can hit with significant ease in head voice on normal days so she should still be able to hit that note very easily. On some of her videos it seems like that note takes strain to hit for her because she hits that note in... well not in head voice.

  • whether or not her voice is at full or not she is still an anoited music minister for God her voice is a gift from God and she uses it well. every singer has off days from time to time no one has the perfect voice all the time and she still hit that high note that is her trade mark God bless you sandi

  • Trust me, I LOVE Sandi Patty! My comment was to basically try to defend her voice to those who noted a decline and point out how amazing her voice is, much like your comment

  • The arrangement is terribly "contrived" from David Clydesdale's original and the one she recorded in 2005. It is clear that she is having vocal difficulty. But, let's remember. She is 50 years old! The voice doesn't work like it used to for any of us.

  • Her voice is as good as ever. I was in the audience and it sounded better live than on the recording. The arrangement form band though was aweful..not her fault. That beng said, also keep in mind she was in the emergency room the next evening with bronchitis.

  • and i can respect that

  • I think there is an kind of obvious factor too... she was very moved about the reason why she was singing of this music... So I think was too emotion...

  • Thanks for posting this. LOVED it. Sandi just rocks!

  • she did a GREAT! job, but she should have had someone up there to do sign language if she wanted it done that bad!

  • It is sort of Sandi's signature to do sign language with this song. Actually it would be wierd to see her do it with out it since that is the way she has always performed. Just wait until you are at a concert when she sings this song and the deaf section gets up and signs along with her...not a dry eye in the house!

  • i could see that

  • Go Sandi!! She is the best. Glad to see the recognition from the GMA.

  • Awesome! Awesome!

  • GREAT

  • Thanks bro! Sandi looks fabulous! Congrats Sandi for 30 Years in the Music Industry!
