They should have put a nuke on Voyager so if by chance it does find intelligent life out there, we could preemtively nuke their ass just as soon as this song ends. Greetings from Earth!!!
We, the Humans from earth want to find anyone else out there in the space. and you would blow them up quickly as possible? This is the dumbest shit ive ever read... YOUre just stupid or a little Kiddy that dont know what it talks damn it!!!!
Even the grandeur and majesty of this piece is overshadowed by the feeling that we as a species are pathetic and feeble in comparison to whomever may discover a primitive golden record floating listlessly through space, in the vain hope the achievements of a few thousand years of civilisation might impress them D:
if some intelligent life forms find this disc they will be like "hm...nice music let's go check them out".After this ,sightings crop circles, then stuff like Lady Gaga come up to be- and alines realise we're unevolving intellectualy, killing eachother still, and are not worth the time
They should of brought the stories from Shakespear on Voyager also. If the aliens could read human language, they would be like "Holyz novaz! Wez gotz thez inteligencez!!"
I'm content to know that long after our sun went supernova turning earth into lava wasteland there will be still a recording of this music left to enjoy for life elsewhere in the universe.
Lol what is when in 100000 years some alien civilization finds this and on it there is written. Very important document.. then he plays it and they see Rick Astley rick rolling them :D.. integallactic rick n roll lol.. we might start a rick n roll revolution in some far universe xD
"These monkeys are rather curious. The best sounds the monkeys made, and some of the very best thoughts they recorded with marks, were made on the same narrow stretch of surface where some of their descendant monkeys, not so very much later, shoved six million other monkeys into a furnace, for no obvious reason."
@soccom8341576 yea even if they maybe don't know this sounds but they are so in harmony with each other even an other being would appriciate this music..
indeed my friend. Witch planet are you from? i however is from the planet Mars and i personally would have preferred some Neyo or maybe Taylor Swift for gods sake its the 256 000 th century! not the 255 950 th!
@Tamaslammer lol and you're a very very angry person, cant u take a joke.. i obviously see this as beautiful music otherwise i wouldn't have even looked it up..
@panchelbel007 This is probably the single most famous piece of music in the history of the world, and its first four notes the most widely widely recognizable; but the best part of this symphony is the far less widely known fourth movement.
It is perhaps the most forceful and convincing expression of triumph in all of music.
At home I have a very bad recording of a very young and daring Karajan conducting a Wiener Philharmoniker consisting mostly of people who had just survived the bombing of Berlin. Now THAT is an interpretation!
I agree, this is definitely Klemperer's weakest recording of the Fifth. I just uploaded a terrific Klemperer-conducted Fifth from the 30s, give it a listen.
I hate idiots like you who think they know enough about classical music to criticize certain performances. This one is great. It was chosen to be on the record for a fucking reason retard
Klemperer wasn't in very good health when this was recorded, it does not reflect his mature view on the work. Beethoven made very specific demands concerning the tempo of his pieces, this interpretation is objectively too slow. If you can't see this you quite frankly don't know shit about Klemps and Beethoven.
The aliens got the best: Klemperer, Glenn Gould, and Karl Richter ... !
