i have 2 sarongs which i wear during hot summer days. inevitably i will get people asking me "why are you wearing a skirt", or somesuch, my answer - "its comfortable". if they say "why are you wearing women's clothing", i reply "i'm not. these clothes belong to me". oddly, this last reply seems to go right over the heads of some people.
I think that the whole 'porn is ebil on 'cuz it essploits wimminnz' chestnut is old hat, now. We have women running their own porn studios, these days, and putting out some magnificent work. I think it's easy to say that the porn industry as itself is now officially post-feminist and thank goodness for that.
"Slut" and "whore" are moral judgements that women and even men use to undermine a woman's exploration of herself and when they're used in that way, women should feel free to ignore them.
I think this is all that has to be done when it comes to being called a whore. Just like ZJ being called a freak, don't feed the trolls and they go away.
Yep! I think it comes to a lot of different stuff - if you don't think it's relevant, then just ignore the annoying twat and keep on keepin' on! There's no reason you should let a complete stranger make you feel guilty or weird or uncomfortable or bad. Nobody has the right to make you feel that way and, moreover, you don't have to let other people affect your view of yourself that much - nobody should have that kind of power!
