  • this reminds me of my childhood & the innocence that i lost, Oh so long ago...

thank you for resurrecting my past, it isn't often i ponder simpler times, where everyday seemed magical and where worry existed not. i miss the blissful ignorance of my youth, days that i thought i could accomplish anything and felt invincible, but those are long gone. my mirror tells me everyday, that i'm running out of time, sorry to open myself up like this, but hearing you play this has made me vulnerable :'-(

  • Cool. XD I wrote a variation on the song as well, and thought I'd check out other peoples variations. ^^ Yours is awesome. ;) You should check out mine.

  • nice play and AWSOME FEELING !!!!!!! that was really great

  • this is beautiful.

  • im wishing i can play lullaby like you! very nice...much feelings :) !!!5*****

  • First, Pan's Labryinth was a beautiful and intelligent movie. One of my favorite that has come out in the last 5 years. I loved the lullaby from it and I think you've one a wonderful version of it. I think it might work well with pedals, blurring the notes to get that whispery feel of the movie.

    Good work!

  • Thanks for the comments, glad ya liked it!

  • inspired by lullaby from pans? IT IS THE LULLABY

  • Not completely there are slight variations in it, although the main theme is (almost) the same...

  • Man, you played this so beautifully :D Did you improvise it from the sheet music? Cause it's awesome!!! :D

(I have the sheet music for this)

  • That last comment was to museratakan.

  • That was a really interesting rendition- I liked the way you moved down the scale when the original moved up, it really added that extra something. Great job!

  • 5,5/10

    SF*

  • Yes, it's called a rendition, not a whole new song.

    Dumbass..

  • para mi que es la misma cancion, este no ha hecho ningun cambio ni nada, este tio va flipado

  • I wish I could speak Spanish but thanks for the comments anyways!

  • can you please give me the notes please you can write them like letter ones..i really want to play it on my flute.

  • Sad and beautiful at the same time..

    x-moondance-x (hotmail co uk)

    i love ur version!

  • The creator does say that this is a variation, in the title. 'Written and performed by P.Blackburn, inspired by the lullaby from Pan's Labyrinth' in the desc - keyword being inspired. I'm pretty sure the creator wasn't trying to play the actual song.

Anyway, aside from that... It sounds lovely, and is very inspiring in itself.

  • Thankyou SyphiVirus, its nice to see that some people are paying attention!

  • I think you're just trying to be an ass :D

  • Hey i would really like to get to play this, I love the music to the movie, do you think you could send the music to me?

  • Great Work!5 stars! :)

  • This is really good, the music is so powerful and the movie is too. Does it have a name? I love this tune/song and I have been looking for it!!

  • It's Pan's Lullaby. God . . . this song gives me goosebumps.

  • ooooh, the music is so sad, ....it got me all nostalgic. Good job!!

  • that one was probably the best one I heard on youtube..probably cuz it had a sharp grand piano sound to it, that made it have a very pleasant sound to it. come on people show me had to play this song I want to see all the keys

  • I really enjoy how you played each note so sorrowfully...It really moves me..

  • Beautiful

  • You're cool! I love it! The twist is pretty sweet too!

  • Hehe, thanks!Glad to be of service!

  • May i ask where you got the music from? i must see it!! i really loved the movie. It was the most beautiful movie every made. And to see someone to play music from it, is just inspiring.

  • I figured out the melody by ear,the rest I made up myself. Thanks for the kind comments

  • it made me cry

  • Its beautiful.

  • Thanks for the kind words mate!!

  • lol i know i should respond to a comment i left and you responded to but yeah im that dorkyy, and thanks

  • very nice

  • Why thankyou! And you're right, sane Is boring!!

  • Inspired by is a bit of an understatement. However, I like the original twist.

  • True,it is more than just inspired by,that's why it's called Pan's Labyrinth-VARIATION.Variation meaning I took the original melody line and rewrote the chord pattern but thanks for pointing that out.

  • I don not think that this is a sad movie. Tought she died, she find her way to her world. Waht i mean?

I am catholic, and since i saw this movie i am thinking more often about we are here just a time, our real world is the heaven and each option that we take will help to it... until the full moon appear.

  • cheers Pablo! nice playing.

  • Thanks dude!!

  • just beautiful, best film in the world; so sad. this song just is amazing, you are a great musician!

  • did u learn this by ear or by sheet music? if u did can u give me the link for the sheet music?

  • I learned this by ear,It's not the actual theme just the melody line,I added the chords myself.

  • It was beautiful. That is all I can say.

  • That says it all to me,Thanks!

  • Excellent! I like it alot. What do you use for transcribing? I'm verry happy with Sibelius. Thanks form commenting on my vid of Pan's :)

  • Thanks for commenting! For transcribing I usually write it out by hand and use sibelius once it's finished, sibelius is cool, easier to read than my script!

  • Thanks, glad ya liked it,if I had the sheet music for corpse bride,I'd give it a go!

  • can i have the cords to that, i LOVE it,
