We don't need apologetics, we need people to stop lying, not teach them the fine art of sophistry for financial gain and societal stratification. You think you need apologetics because the Bible makes no sense unless you alter the meaning of words and lie about context.
D'Souza's book "What's So Great About Christianity" had some good points. A few cheap shots, but it kept pretty civil. As a non-believer, I liked it - especially the point about despite how bad some/many Christians are, they're (potentially) worse without their faith.
@highwind8124 - If the only reason to be a good human being is out of fear then perhaps you should wonder if that fear is the problem in the first place. It's like alcohol when you're a teenager, if forbidden it is a big deal, become an adult, not so much.
