if you listen to music (not that your not) when you it comes to the repetitive bit with the brush toe heel and the toe taps across you...the music starts of quiet and gets stronger, so try changing the clarity of your taps the match the music!
also let yourself go...you know it and your tap sounds great so just relax your body and enjoy it ;)

I agree the 7/4 is the best adv2 amalgamation and obv the hardest..with you having to randomly start counting in 6s and 8s halfway through and then go back to 7s lol
yea me and my teacher always found it funny when its callet the 7/4 and then suddenly 5,6,7, 8!?!? lol, i actually found it pretty easy 2 get get used 2 rhythmiclly. i found the rag more challenging especially that footy bit after the turns on the spot into that 3 beat pullback lol but i love them both!! miss it, ill be doing my gold award in summer just did my silver :) got an A woop :)
lower the volume of your stemps please.... if you want to improve something
and don't say advanced in your describtion when its not advanced ....

@balletbabe2007 Haha, yeah, dynamics are super difficult with my terrible tap shoes. They're sooo ooold and the heel taps have fallen off. *fail*
Totally agree with the relaxation though! I get all awkward when performing and dunno what to do!

My favourite bit of this? Clearly my "yeeaah" at the beginning. ;) And I quite like Charlotte's subtle stride away at 0.43.
Oh and the tap's quite nice.

i really dislike the 7/4, so i'm doing the ragtime (love turning) and the quick jazz, really want to see a vid for ragtime though

aww the blues, i learnt a bit of this 1 but i didnt do it for the exam i did rag and 7/4 thay r the best nothing beats the 7/4

I think I'm learning the 7/4 soon. Sould be fun! I know the first little bit...1, 2, 3, dig, 5, dig, ballchange! Good times! :-)

head up :) dont look at the floor lol
and a little bit more variation with the tone in your tap, it sounds really nice, just maybe make some bits heavier to emphasise which bits are light
and fully extend your arms
but otherwise really good, good luck with the exam whenever you do it
