@JayXavier Well, no he couldn't, because they're different artists with different pov's and experiences, etc. But I think in terms of their merits, though Elliott is head and shoulders above most songwriters, lyrically, he isn't in the same league as Dylan. He's right underneath him though; and that's only a handful of people i'm talking about.

Bob Dylan has his own thing going on but I agree, realistically he couldn't write most of elliott's songs in a million years.
