This show always ends up making me mad at my mother. Becky is told off-handedly to go shave something, just to get rid of her...but when, at age 14, I sneaked a razor away and shaved my legs from the knees down, my mother peaked...I was grounded for a week. I never got "the talk" at all, mom just gave me her menstruation books from 1960, and she sent me on a church camping retreat, where I was the only girl, with my period, with 3 maxipads to last the whole weekend. Gee thanks, mom.
of course, my mother also sent me up a tall tree during a lightning storm, when I brought home a report card with a "C" on it, just to avoid showing Grandma.
another reason of why i love roseanne is that they dont act with sexuality as something perverted and immoral that you cant even talk or think about and should only do when youre at least 40 and married
