I almost passed this game up because Square Enix was unfortunately involved in this. Thank lord Nintendo supervised them.

The Tank is weak to Thunder, The Wizard is weak to Physical Attacks, Treasure Chest head is weak to Fire attacks, and that Iron Mask is weak to Ice, however if Mallow isn't in your party, and you're around level 30 you can stick it with physical all the way but for a more Harder Fight, Mario Geno and Bowser are more challenging choices, but beware he spams Meteor Swarm often. at least I think

The only thing i know is: trying to beat Smithy with Mallow and Bowser (even with right equipment AND level 30) it's just a REAL PAIN IN THE ASS!

And nope, i couldn't beat that evil bastard when i was a kid either!

By the way: Did you notice when Tank-headed Smithy is about to shoot, a little scope appears in his right eye AND IT SUDDENLY DISAPPEARS AFTER THE SHOT!? WTF!!!

idr what level geno was on and u get the shell for mario by getting the seed and fertlazer and take it to the guy in rose town he has a house to himself away from others not hard to miss

This guy was easy for a final boss. But I actually thought it was a really fun battle. What made it so good was how long it took to beat him. It took like 20 minutes including both fights, lol. You beat him REALLY fast...then again, your attack is really high. Mine wasn't that high, so that's probably why. Nice job anyway!

Smithy is really easy, sadly. If you look online you can find a version that doubles the hit points and attack damage of every enemy.

Man, this guy was so hard for me to beat when I was young due to the fact I didn't know what the hell I was doing and I usually die to Smithy from his damn Magnum. Also I always went for the body and then the head making the battle last a bloody lot longer than its suppose to. Eventually I won though with a bit of luck >_>.

I beat this boss recently on my level 23-24 party.

Even with the Lazy Shell, it wasnt as easy as I thought it would be. Mostly because when he went magic head that would mean instant death, espicially when he goes twice.
