Thanks so much for the info. This really helped. I was just talking to a friend, and the 3rd disc from Target is just a digital copy of the movie, so I don't know if people really want to go that extra mile just for that.

As for my choices, I believe I'm going to go with Borders since I want that damn medallion. However, I may also go bonkers and buy it from Wal-Mart too. I mean, come on, 7 minutes from Eclipse?! I can't pass that up.

i tried doing research on the dvd/blu-rays too and a lot of sites weren't very clear on what comes with them. i ended up ordering mine from best buy for the steel case but even then, they weren't real specific and what it actually comes with. every other site says exclusive content. i just wonder exactly how exclusive it is.

I'm friends with all the people that work at my local Hot Topic. They gave me the promotional stuff and told me why the aren't selling it. Walmart is selling the DVD for wayyyy cheaper than they could. I'm disappointed too; I went there last year.

I preordered mine from best buy already mainly because I just got a new cell phone and I had a twilight skin on my old cell and my new cell just feels naked without it. But I will most likely get the wal mart edition too since wal mart is right across the street from my job.... so is target but the problem with target's promo gift is, as i understand it, the film cell is NOT guaranteed....

It's between the Target & the Wal-Mart editions for me.....though the casing of the Best Buy edition is very pretty. When you say the Wal-Mart edition comes with the Forks documentary, are you referring to that DVD that was just released called "Forks: The Story of the Real Town" or something like that?

Crazy but I actually pre-ordered the Twilight: New Moon (w/bagclip) from B&N, then I heard about Borders having a limited edition DVD so I pre-ordered that too. Not even the next day after, Walmart was said to be the only store that would have a 7 minute preview of Eclipse, so.. I pre-ordered that too. I know, I know.. I just couldn't decide :P (The Best Buy one didn't seem to interest me. The Target one did, only because of the different case cover. But I went overboard already, so yeah..)

i think its a little rediculous to have so many different options and everyonees just trying to get the edge on the other retailer but its leaving the fans with a lot of issuse where we want something from each package with out buying 6 copies of the movie. i also want the walmart one now bc it has clips from eclipse but im sure they will make there way onto the internet shortly after. i think all the stores need to collab and make the ULTIMATE ULTIMATE fan edition with everything included.

i got the borders one last year and i really liked the packaging and the content it had. i think i might go with the borders one again just because i want to keep the packaging consistent. the walmart and target ones both sound cool though. my cousin got the target one last year with the itunes download and she liked it. i think i will tell her to get the target one, and my friend to get the walmart one :) we can share!
