hahaha well depends on what you expect of a singer right? Tom petty has a voice you gotta like, i admit that, but he sings it in way more ways, i think john mayer sings it in one tone abit (don't really know this guy so can't criticize him hahaha!) I just think tom petty's version has more life in it, and i like it! and yeah, because it's the original it automatically gets more credit if ya ask me! :D
