Tibetans are not Chinese? They are Chinese citizens like the other 55 minorities. Exile Tibetans certainly are NOT! You guys have the Dalai Lama to be blamed for fleeing in 1959. What has he done for you guys? I am not interested in talking to exile Tibetans. While I can understand the plight you people are in, you people certainly have no right as a refugee to demand going back to a land you chose to leave.
When you choose to be a refugee in a country you have no right to do anything. Tibetans in India or Nepal has no citizenship rights. You do not create trouble in countries that offer you refuge.
@HumanRightsVideosT The 2008 Tibetan unrest, also known from its Chinese name as the 3•14 Riots, was a series of riots, protests, and demonstrations in the Tibetan regional capital of Lhasa and also Tibetan Buddhist monasteries outside the Tibet Autonomous Region. What originally began as an annual observance of Tibetan Uprising Day resulted in street protests by monks, that later descended into rioting, burning, looting, and killing by March 14.
@HumanRightsVideosT The violence was mostly directed at Han and Hui civilians by Tibetans participating in the unrest. Police intervened to prevent the conflict from further escalation. I didn't write this. It is all over wikipedia. Hopefully, I answer your question.
@nelsonsim you've been there twice, but while you were there you probably stayed with Chinese people. I have family members in Tibet, so I know first-hand the kind of crap their given by the Chinese.
@KrazyNinjaPanda If you know first hand like what you claimed, you will know Xizang is no more like what it was when your parents left fifty years back. In fact today it is even different from what Dharamsala is. They have cellphones, new schools, etc. Tibetans are represented in the NPC in Beijing. However in Dharamsala you have a shanty parliament house. Tibetans in China are Chinese citizens. Exile Tibetans in India are stateless. There is a big difference.
@KrazyNinjaPanda As I say I have been there twice but I live and work in China. You must be an exile Tibetan and if you are, your parents must have fled Xizang 50 years ago. I am surprise your other family members didn't follow your parents if they are so oppressed. BTW I mingled with Tibetan cab drivers and service related people, not Chinese. I have been saying that only the monks are fighting the establishment not the Tibetan people. The self immolation issue has backfired. Quiet now.
@nelsonsim yeah keep talking rubbish. I have relatives in Tibet who my family and I are in touch with, and they say that in public they say they sympathize with the Chinese, but when we talk to them, they constantly talk of injustices the Chinese commit. To the point where they are nearly in tears. And plus, you have no right talk about what the Tibetan people want, as you have not a drop of Tibetan blood flowing in you.
@KrazyNinjaPanda You are right, I don't have Tibetan blood but I have been to Tibet twice and I live and work in China. Exile Tibetans like you paint a bleak picture of Tibetan Chinese in Xizang. YOU HAVE OBVIOUSLY NEVER BEEN THERE and you are laying claim that you have relatives there given it has been 50 years ago when the 13th Dalai Lama fled. So who is talking rubbish? You want Xizang back when it is so much better than when you left? Stay stateless in India my friend. God bless you.
@HumanRightsVideosT. I have been saying this. You should visit Tibet if you have the opportunity. Xizang is not like what you perceive it to be. 30 years can make a lot of difference to a country, let alone 50 years in Tibet. China was one of the poorest nation then. Today it is one of the world's richest. You think Xizang is like Tibet of the old??? The quality of living for Chinese Tibetans are way, way ahead of exile Tibetans in India or Nepal.

The Dalia Fraudster! I've heard his arguments and they are logically flawed. People are being imprisoned and tortured, raped and denied basic human rights that he pretends to support.
All I see is a bunch of backpackers padded with propaganda, exploiting the fact that they're of Tibetan ethnicity to protest. Each of them probably dreams to be some minister in a future Tibetan government, not having to work like the other millions who are staying in the territory.
@HumanRightsVideosT u are absolutely right. the commies had became capitalist pigs since the opening of their market and lived on the backs of slave labors. but they are gaing rich from all of china instead of just tibet. the top riches are associated with membres of the communist party. even the chinese know about the wide corruption of teh communist party and 1000s of protests every year occured due to corruptions of local officials.
Its true that chinese in china know many things now, but the communist party has been successful in brainwashing many people about Falun Gong for instance and not just in china, the propaganda and lies about FG are worldwide.
In my opinion you have to try Falun Gong to understand it. Sadly many people rely on secondhand information about Falun Gong.
If people try the FG exercises they will find out that they won't come to any harm and will most likely get benefit from them.
@HumanRightsVideosT great story but not convincing. almost every chinese I know either knows about the labor camps, was part of the labor camp or knows that some one was in a labor camp. also another thing is not every chinese can be in the communist party because the selective process is very rigorous (helps a lot that you are from a family of communist members). if they are from such family, they would not want to leave because the party takes care of its members (like any political unions)
I would hope that almost all Chinese know about the labour camps but the guy we met claimed not to know about them. There are other organizations in china which are linked to the CCP which mean you are linked to the party. He may well have been a member of one of those organizations rather than the party itself.
And yes I'm met a CCP member who won't resign because its in his financial interest to stay in the party.
almost every other chinese I known had suffered under the chinese rule.my father's college classmate went to jail during the culture revolution and he was dragged through broken glass as a part of his reeducation. However, his friend is a ccp member(got free education, medical care, apartment etc).most chinese does support democratic revolution in china, but hate losing their territory(tibet independence).
I have met some chinese who will argue that things in China a great right now and also quite a few Chinese who are scared of Falun Gong practitioners or at least won't have anything to do with them.
No doubt anyone who can remember the madness of the Cultural Revolution doesn't support the CCP. Hopefully the vast majority of chinese don't support the CCP.
@HumanRightsVideosT those who say china is great probably have benefited from communist. remember that the top 20 percent of chinese is doing pretty good (equal to about 400 million). a lot of members of the top officials in the communist party are actually victims of mao's culture revolution. for example, deng xiao ping was expelled out of the party into labor camps by mao because he disagreed with mao's economic policies and he did not came back to power till way after mao's death.
Many Urban Chinese might be doing OK but they want more than just $. They want freedom to do things like religion and find out what's really happening in the World and see what's happening on youtube for instance.
Nepal is not a democracy nation; there are no human rights for their own people. Is also one of the poorest nations in the world. Is also has a very corrupt govt. for years. The nation also very much depends mainly on India and China and etc. for aids and developments.
For years china has been putting pressure on any pro Tibet protest in its neighbouring countries and throughout the world but especially Nepal, because of the unstable uneducated govt .
@tenthar ,u mother fucker bitch..get out of here.nepal still progressing to keep peaceful country in the world. we won't let out land use for a china nor fucckin india.we are nepali and proud to be it!we rule the world....lol
fucking tibets idc if nepal helped you guys but fuck off our country its 90% hindu and we will be always like that we don't want other religion to go there soo fuck off our country mother fuckers!! or your country won't be tibet if you keep doing this.
Great job Tibetan people in Nepal. Keep your spirits up as always. We all know that the sun will rise again in Tibet and we all will be going back to Tibet and someof these Nepalese hardliner who brainwashed and exploited by CCP will die from hunger cause there is huge impact on Nepalese econmy by Tibetan refugees. So they will get lessons.
I'm so sick and tired of these tibetan fundamentalist religious fanatics thinking that they can cause protest and riots for every host nation taking advantage of their hospitality to future their own political agenda. Fuck you asshole, I'll take you seriously when you accept Jesus Christ into you heart and mind and not that of a reincarnating politician!
To see some countries who recognised Tibet as a country go to tibetjustice. org/materials/treaties/index.html (remove spaces) China - Sino-Tibetan Treaty 821/823 A.D. Ladakh (1684 and 1842) Kashmir (1852), Nepal (1856) British Government and China (Chefoo Convention 1876) Burmah (1886) Great Britain and China (1890) Great Britain (1904) Great Britain and China (1906) Great Britain and Russia (1907) Great Britain and China (1908) Mongolia (1913) Great Britain and China (1914), China (1918)
Great Britain : the ture invaders. GB invaded many countries, their strategy was split the country, in order to break that country's power. and established many conflic between the people in a coutry, and let them fight, so that country won't grow fast....and make sure that country won't revenge...Great Britian forced QING government to let tibet independent, however, even the weak QIng government didn't agree, and later the ROC didn't agree either. Not to mention communist China.
Just about every country around did dodgy things in the past. I think the World grew up after WW2 or at least Japan and Germany learnt lessons from WW2.
The British invasion of Tibet was very short lived. Sure a few thousand Tibetans died, but a few thousand is nothing compared to 1+ million.

Down with his phoniness dalie lama s 70 yr autocratic theocratic rule over tibetans, down with him and his elite wealthy family and the aristocrats who benefited from Old Tibet. Ignorants of Old Tibet are just jumping on the bandwagon and blindly worshipping this serf owner of old tibet, who stays in 5 star hotels wears Gucci shoes eats meat, befriends celebrities while calling himself simple monk. He pulled compassion out of his ass in India coz Old Tibet was not Shangrilla under his rule.

Indian High court in New Delhi is summoning Dalai Lama to court due to his unconstitutional ban on the ancient practice of Dorje Shugden on his own people.
In India where there are so many religions and their subsects, it is unheard of that a secular/religious leader can issue such a ban.
It has shocked the Indian psyche.
Preliminary hearings have began.
Aljazeera news has a special report. It is posted on the youtube.
Tibetian should thank Nepal atleat we are giving you to live here not only Nepal police using force to these people police from all over the world using force to these poor people different is other country are powerfull and they dont let media to film this kind of activity but our goverment of Nepal is weak and cant controll media we all have to understand police they have power to use force if someone goes againest law.
Want to start of by letting all the Nepalese know that Tibetans ARE grateful to Nepal for giving us a home. I understand why Nepalese ppl. would get offended with all that was said in the media about brutality against protesters. Also how the gvt. is helpless since its pressured by the Chinese. But its not like Tibetans were rioting or trying to set the Chinese consulate on fire. All the demonstrations were peaceful . I don't see a reason why the police had to use force.
fren! thank you for understanding. The protest wasn't a problem for nepalese government but chineese government were freaked out. All u see here is a pressure of Chineese government.
Ti betans are refugees?have u heard refugees don't pay tax, free education, free religion...In tibet, Dalai lama and his followers don't allow other believe other religions...don't care u believe it or not, 'cause u abosolutly has been brainwashed ..
not only the communist party rules tibet, but also the nationalist party, and the qing dynasty...Communist party just inherit the previous goverment land. did we invade tibet, the answer is surely correct, but it was long time ago, we rule the land, just like USA....Tibet was not shangri-la. MONKS and patriciate ruled everything. tibetan were not allowed believe other religions.China did have bad human rights record, but we are improving. we will do better.
seriously, if current chinese government is changed, next Chinese government won't let tibet independent, otherwise, the next government will also be destoried..
we build school to let them learn modern educational, u guys crazy yell that we are destorying tibet culture....tibet culture is children go to temple and to be monks, or slaves....they got free education, if they want, however, some of them still want to be monks. just like native indian in american, their education is far behind the white....u understand?
what do u mean tibetan culture is being wiped out?if u say they cut human skin for the ceremony, and cut people's leg if they did something wrong are their culture, very glad, they are being wiped out...I went to Tibet, I saw many kid monks in the temple, and their parents helped those kids to build house in the temple.their parentsare proud to send their children there..we have compulsory education.they don't need pay tuition, in some area, also include food and residence.
YOu always give me the number to prove ur words, well where did u get those numbers? many western countries were theocratic. why don't do it now? U knew that religions also could destoried a civilization. we don't stop people to believe other religions, may be it was before. but it not only point to tibetan, but all of China. It is very open now. People have free religions in China. Many Tibetans have to pay to go to school?proof.. give me the evidence.
"The 6254 monasteries that were the living repositories of over a millennia of higher Tibetan civilisation were destroyed. Their treasures were shipped to China or melted down into bullion or bullets. All the Scriptures were burned. Wood was literally taken from monasteries to be used in the construction of in Chinese military camps."
I have made toll calls to get detailed information about Tibet. Most of the world's media helps the communist party to cover up what is happening in PRC.
Some communist party supporters get upset with CNN for zooming in and they are a joke.
CNN might be one of the few media organizations in the West trying to put a decent amount of TRUTH out there.
I feel Sad, I thought Tibetans understood and shared our sentiment. Its not like, Nepalese Police only attacked because the protestors were foreigners..Didn't you see them treat Nepalese the same way before, a few months before when Nepalese people overthrew the king?...Its Sad. We'd like to help, and to tell the truth, we are ready to help any time, just that, there should be other ways, and we have already proven our loyalty to you by sharing our land with you and loving you like our own?
I mean, we are in middle of two big nations, India and China, India's a Bully most of the times and China has power over us because they provide us with financial aid...Infact, they help us a lot. Superpowers like USA has ignored the fact about Tibet to keep its trade relations with China, what can you expect from us???
USA ignored the fact about Tibet? Yankees were the first who started this tibet independence issue during the socialist uprising in china. US CIA funded dalai lama followers to fight against China. they even used nepal as battle field against china some decades ago and CIA was providing them weapons. thankfully that battle didn't last long, otherwise nepal would be like Afghanistan and Iraq. US still funds dalai lama's parliament. no one should expect anything from capitalist and imperelist USA.
I am here in UK, I see the newspapers and I see papers with pictures of Tibetans beated by the Nepalese police. Poor Tibetans and Barbaric Nepalese People???!...This is getting ever so ridiculous.
It is not only Nepali police who beat the tibetan protestors. Indian police also beat many tibetan protestors. India is definitely not so weak like Nepal in front of China and they don't depend on china's financial aid as well. so there's hardly any economiccal and political reason to beat pro tibetan protestors. both countries india and nepal were fearing from the consequences of the pro tibet protest. no country in sub continent wants to be engaged in international issue like Tibet.
I am utterly disappointed at this particular situation. I totally support Tibetans, I ama Nepalese girl and as said in this video, my country welcomes people from all over the world. As for the current situation. Any person with a common sense should understand what is actually going on.

However, his friend is a ccp member(got free education, medical care, apartment etc).most chinese does support democratic revolution in china, but hate losing their territory(tibet independence).
eastern2western 9 months ago
@eastern2western
HumanRightsVideosT 9 months ago
@HumanRightsVideosT those who say china is great probably have benefited from communist. remember that the top 20 percent of chinese is doing pretty good (equal to about 400 million). a lot of members of the top officials in the communist party are actually victims of mao's culture revolution. for example, deng xiao ping was expelled out of the party into labor camps by mao because he disagreed with mao's economic policies and he did not came back to power till way after mao's death.

Nepal is not a democracy nation; there are no human rights for their own people. Is also one of the poorest nations in the world. Is also has a very corrupt govt. for years. The nation also very much depends mainly on India and China and etc. for aids and developments.
For years china has been putting pressure on any pro Tibet protest in its neighbouring countries and throughout the world but especially Nepal, because of the unstable uneducated govt .
because we all r a fish in the pond.

South Korea is also under extremely under pressure by same reason. South korean

they don't want to anger PRC. This is quite
embrassing for Korean who think they became

Great job Tibetan people in Nepal. Keep your spirits up as always. We all know that the sun will rise again in Tibet and we all will be going back to Tibet and someof these Nepalese hardliner who brainwashed and exploited by CCP will die from hunger cause there is huge impact on Nepalese econmy by Tibetan refugees. So they will get lessons.

THE DALAI LAMA IS GOING TO COURT!!

Tibetans who have escaped Prison Tibet, the largest prison in the World are refugees.
The communist party cult has been looting Tibet for nearly 60 years now. So Tibetans have been supporting 1,300,000,000 Chinese.
Its seems very unlikely that there is free education in Tibet.

not only the communist party rules tibet, but also the nationalist party, and the qing dynasty...Communist party just inherit the previous goverment land. did we invade tibet, the answer is surely correct, but it was long time ago, we rule the land, just like USA....Tibet was not shangri-la. MONKS and patriciate ruled everything. tibetan were not allowed believe other religions.China did have bad human rights record, but we are improving. we will do better.

Nepal seems to be VERY important for Tibetans because the adult literacy rate in the Tibet Autonomous Region is only 45.1 percent.
For mainland (or Inner) China its 89 percent. So it looks like there is little chance of getting a decent education in Tibet.

You don't seem to know much about Tibet. Watch
Tibet "Cry of Snow lion" :6
At about 2:38
"The 6254 monasteries that were the living repositories of over a millennia of higher Tibetan civilisation were destroyed.

Reyarai 3 years ago
USA ignored the fact about Tibet? Yankees were the first who started this tibet independence issue during the socialist uprising in china. US CIA funded dalai lama followers to fight against China. they even used nepal as battle field against china some decades ago and CIA was providing them weapons. thankfully that battle didn't last long, otherwise nepal would be like Afghanistan and Iraq. US still funds dalai lama's parliament. no one should expect anything from capitalist and imperelist USA.

Reyarai 3 years ago
It is not only Nepali police who beat the tibetan protestors. Indian police also beat many tibetan protestors. India is definitely not so weak like Nepal in front of China and they don't depend on china's financial aid as well. so there's hardly any economiccal and political reason to beat pro tibetan protestors. both countries india and nepal were fearing from the consequences of the pro tibet protest. no country in sub continent wants to be engaged in international issue like Tibet.
NepalmyPride 3 years ago
I am utterly disappointed at this particular situation. I totally support Tibetans, I ama Nepalese girl and as said in this video, my country welcomes people from all over the world. As for the current situation. Any person with a common sense should understand what is actually going on.
