  • Proper catchy tune love this Justin VERY VERY good :):):):):):):):)

  • @gforce

Probably either you are still not pressing hard enough to get the tone, - you need to also be as close to the the fret as possible (the metal strips that split up each fret) or your guitar has a high 'action' which basically means its harder to get the strings firmly down, or you could have a very low action, which is causing the strings to buzz on lower frets when playing a chord, hope this helps

  • Justin, do you still have the .pdf's hosted anywhere? The link on your site is dead. Thanks.

  • @PERAGR0 I found it archived. Google "PR-001 solo blues pdf" and it's the top link, if anyone's interested.

  • Justin is my favorite guitar teacher on the internet, among many good ones (like Marty Schwartz and Andrew Wasson ). I learned my very first chord from this guy, and that was four years ago, now I easily play Lead Zeppelin solos and stuff lol. I'm really grateful, and I donate once in a while, you other people should too! :-D

  • 2:29-2:35 lol !pause

  • starting to think guitar is always gonna be out of the reach of my abilities, no matter how hard i try i can never get my fingers in the right place as takes me about 5 mins to play one bar( and not well mind) then by that time my finger tips are sore i guess i am just not used to it enough, its damned hard this guitar lark.

  • @RallyDon82 Way do u sell ur self short i did the same thing i have short fingers but i dont give up

  • I am only just starting and I can exactly get my fingeris the the right spots and are comfortable... any tips ???

Thanks you Justin, you have made an old Timer Happy.

  • hey i'm having a hard time figuring out this quick stumming technique. the only way to explain what i mean is by saying it's right before the chorus of the song big city dreams. could you make a short video possibly to explain this. i can't find one anywhere. thanks

  • I've been playing for just one month, so I still have trouble with basic chords, let alone progressions. Learning the intro to this took 5 minutes. Thanks Justin. I can't get the smile off of my face. Plus, I've lived my whole life in Chicago, so playing any bit of a Blues riff makes me extra happy.

  • very cool

can youput stiff upper lip from AC/DC?

    i love this song, please...

  • Charlie Baker ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Justin you're the best IThanks

  • Hello! I'm new at teh guitar playing, please help me! Is this song in 4:4 or 3:4? I'm trying to play it, azn I can play the notes in order, butthe rithm is hard! When U play the main easy parts it's 4:4 and then the solo parts are 3:4? Do I get this right?

  • @melindaedes no its just a pause

  • @melindaedes

i think blues is always 4:4, not sure

  • @melindaedes

Blues is in 4/4 but each beat is divided into 3, which I will call a,b,c. When you play 1/2 notes, you play the second half note late, or swing it, so effectively you play on a and c. This gives the blues the "chugga chugga" rhythym. Sometimes, particularly in solos this is mixed with triplets, which just means you play on a, b and c. Take a look at Justins free beginners course and he explains it or buy any beginners blues guitar tutorial book.

  • You rock! Thank you so much, I'm a beginner and this is very motivating!!!
