may i suggest using Audacity? just select Mono Out in the recording options, hit record, and then hit play on the video. It will record directly into Audacity, and there you have it

To answer your question, i could do this to the broadway cd, but i would feel like i was intruding on DjDonnyO's teritory. DJ was the first to put karaokes for hairspray, and they where all the broadway versions, which inspried me to do the mvies. So the broadway version is already up

I made it. I took the Hairspray Soundtrack, then converted it to MP3 format, and put it into a free trial of RipEditBurn. From there i entered windows Movie maker, and put the sond in, in its original format, with words. I went to a lyrics site, copy pasted, then removed the audio, and replaced it with what you hear in the video. Hope that helps
