  • There is no such thing as free energy. Elementary physics.

  • @DevSolar free energy? what about welfare ? :)

  • good idea, but I guess it ca't work because all it does is transformating the speed. The right disc holds almost no power.

    2. the magnet is in the wrong position when the plastic is mounted.

    3. of all the left disc has to be bedded too.

  • Hey I like the resourcefulness using a cd spindle and CDs.

  • make an equal opposite side.

  • I'm curious about the magnets you use, type, strength. could you reply? thank you

  • It’s a no go bud. The same magnetic repulsion that makes one disk spin one direction has an equal and opposite push in the opposite disk. Its just canceling itself out.

  • you should try making the CDs levitate, put magnets under them to make less friction, may work better i think :) nice design

  • DJ CHINA

  • That's just creative gearing.

  • very good idea dude, but i recommend to you 2 ideas:

    1) the magnet maybe you should put it in line from outside to the core of the CD, with a inclination, like the rays of the bike ...

    2) make a gear assmebly between the cds so you push the first round and then the magnet will do the rest and it will hit in the same place every time, if you want we could do this together.

for a better world. free energy must have.

  • bet you smoke a fuck load of weed

  • move the left pin counter clock wise a bit so the magnet can be on the bottom

  • He could try with an smaller disk at left to rotate united and sincronizated with the other one

  • Your getting there. A torus filed is what you want. THis vid. actually helps to prove that. Interesting.

  • You know the information on those discs is shot ;).

  • hand Energy - rotation work energy = 0hp .... free energy fail!

733.868 visualization = a lot of eletric energy not free just for a crap video...

  • @Giocondo89 Did you even listen to him? You can only dislike this video if you watched the video with mute on...

  • free energy is simple...wind or solar, there... free energy...

of course scientifically free energy is impossible

  • fake and gay

  • Interesting but primitive idea.

  • wheres the IQ?

  • where yout get the magnets?

  • How about you film this and get it spinning by hand then edit the footage into a continuous loop and bingo perpetual motion.

    Or

Contact your member of parliament and have those silly laws of physics repealed.

  • Just calc how many energy you need to move left disc and how many energy you have from right disc. Compare it... O'kay? =)

  • dont work!

  • add a pin to stop it at a cretin point and an spring to retract it

  • sounds like troll physics

  • If you could some how harness the energy created by friction. You could use that energy to keep the motion constant.. You could possibly do this by using clockwork style cogs in place of cd's and springs to harness the friction. Just a suggestion , Some sort of dynamo technology could also work . The friction of the two disks passing each other powers a small motor through a dynamo which in turn spins the disks. For that to work i think you'd need to scale the experiment up in size though.

  • i figured out how to make this thing spin forever!!

you need 2 rubber bands and a ridiculously precise piece of plastic to time the 2 thin magnets in sync.

    it can be done

  • @bmw2go11 no it cant, not with this asinine design

  • it's not free because the DJ has to eat

  • @grandexandi

I like it when free refers to energy and not economics!

Because even if the food is free...

  • another great free energy generator is killed by fucking friction...

  • all you need to do is move the screws and change the length of the plastic connector and you'll have a working model... at least it should work

  • This is an old video ...so I don't know if you are still playing with the idea or not.I do have a suggestion for you if you are....install a radio control servo on each disc...onto the servo shaft of each servo put a small disc with an offset pivot..link the 2 pivots..then using the radio control to vary your linkage geometry you might find the sweet spot to perform auto rotation or not.Good luck.

  • cool ! your almost there, keep working on it because it IS a sound theory ! ; )

  • how about you connect both cd's with a chain or something so they both make a full circle and using there power to line up again good?

  • it will never work

    but dont stop trying

    thats how discoveries are made

  • jajajaja dj free energy

  • Also, learn how magnets are made and realize that the immense energy required to make each magnet makes any approach involving magnets a moot point entirely.

  • Yet another failure. Learn to physics.

Call me when "free" energy is proven to exist by scientists in a replicable format and is published in an international journal of science.

  • ~~~~u2bjudge~~~~~

    TRY THIS AT HOME

  • Take the device and shove into your anus.

  • If its free energy than whats your hand is providing?

  • @MegaScorpio44 It is an approach to free energy, not the whole idea itself.

  • @xDGiulianoxD oh k. Your ideas look cool, but they can\t work

  • The poles that connect the arm bar is off by few degrees. It will work.

  • How many ppl clicked frantically throughout the video just to see if both of these CD's were gonna spin by themselves....#ThermodynamicsFail

  • Free energy? If food is free, then sure, because your hand is supplying the energy in that system.

  • Nice effort but arent we forgetting the most important thing why this wont work? It is called FRICTION !

People need to understand that energy can only be transfered, not generated.

  • Great effort. I do love looking at these attempts to create perpetual motion machines however sadly I'm affraid physics is against you. You have to consider the losses. As the magnet on the left turns clock wise and pushes that spiral it will be resisting and wanting to rotate counter CW. The momentum it has created in the disc on the right won't be enough to over come this. You could fine tune it so it gets very close but then you also have to overcome friction in bearings, linkages, etc

  • Why don't you actually get around to studying physics,

so you won't keep building things that don't work and

    you don't know why?

  • troll?

  • Try changing the length long/short of the strip that you attach to those poles. or may be split the strip into two with movable joint that would work as a arms. or attach the arm first, then arrange the spiral magnets according to the magnet position of the first disk.

  • Try putting the other wheel with the more magnets on top of a table with one wire that when pushed down will make a pendulum at the bottom of the table move. Use the pendulum's movement to move the other wheel back and forth

  • just have one wheel and periodically flick it with your had. Its just the same.

  • you are crazy hohohohohohoho

  • DJ Spiral

  • you have the eye hand coordination of a snake you cant even time the spins right

  • that helps thank you!

  • with more powerful magnets this could work and there is to much friction

  • @watto958 well ok mr physics man.. please explain ufo aka flying saucers alien or not they defie our laws. you cant say they are imaginary because they have been witnessed to billions of people. lets take a look at the past and look at the man who predicted that there would be cars and submarines and every1 looked at him if he was mental and thought this would never happened...and it did. free energy is every where in the universe and if people had free energy devices government will lose power

  • @islandboiitsi Imagine me looking at you as if you're mental.

  • @islandboiitsi This is the maddest comment I have read in years. It is really sad that this comment represents the level of education, a large cross section of people in the 21st Century possess. Depressing.

  • yh its a cool machine, but can it actually function as a real Perpetual Motion machine and allow you to get energy out without having to put energy in, or atleast get more energy out than you put in?

  • DJ free energy.

  • @ipod564 Dj-Fe!

  • @ipod564 type in forizal in the search

  • @ipod564 = hello everyone i see great ideas this last one just gave me a very good idea combined and sincronized all elements even add an other wheel or two and there you have it! just aligne 3 wheels like a triangle and the main wheel on the center that makes a total of 4 wheels simple! that is only just part to the solution of making it "perpetual motion" /_\ EACH LINE IS A WHEEL AND THE FOURTH ON THE CENTER well just a different perspective with the same idea.

  • @ipod564 ROFL

  • maybe instead of using your hand to go back and forth, you should use a spring to recoil the cd a the exact timing... or use more than one magnet facing the spirals, maybe this will give you something to do until you figure out that this can't be done with Cd's and cheap refrigerator magnets!!!

  • this one DOESNT stop...only uses magnets. BUT could it be rigged up to generate free power? watch?v=kerouU_Jxg8&feature=related

  • @ocifferdave - that one is a well known fake. We assume he uses an air jet just off camera. Magnet motors cannot work as there is no energy source. The force released when two magnets repel each other is the same as the force required to bring them together, therefore no net gain, no rotation. It looks possible for people who want to blow their investment money though. LOL.

  • Hey now we need a disk jockey for free energy...

  • great idea if there wasn't gravity!

  • What If You Put Another Magnet On The Left Side Of The Left Spindle To Repel The Magnet Back To The Right Spot Which Would Cause The Right Spindle To Continuously Spin?

  • Technically with your hand helping the energy isn't "free". You need carbon matter to thrive- and food is expensive.

  • look, a DJ with a creative mind.

  • Well, always people calls crazy to the genius that invent stuffs, keep trying dude, I think yes, it is possible, it is just like a balloon with helium, you can put it on mid air, it is the same, 2 forces balancing (sorry about my english, is not good, Im from Mexico)

  • You need some counter weight also to give it balance

  • It's very clear if you look at the video that what you did to make it spin and when the stick is added the motion of each test are different a little adjustment and it will work. Magnet might not last to long but there better then batteries and pollution they create to make and trash.

  • stop jacking off! like if u agree

  • god damn give him a break its a hobbie to him not fucking lifes work hes smarter than half of the people i know and i live in cali

  • Nobody can make that work without an external power source. Sorry mate. Go invent something that's actually possible.

  • What about adding weight to the spiral flywheel to give it greater momentum?

  • can i do this ón my ps3 ?

  • having only one magnet on the left side won't work you would need to or 3 max to keep it going, but yaeh magnets would not last forever.

  • Get the DJS!!

  • You just have yout stick in the wrong spot.

  • You can use a very small solar panel to produce enough electricity to move the first magnet, kindof like how the chinese lucky cat waves its' hand using solar power

  • Around the world and for thousands of years intelligent people have tried to cheat the laws of science. All the "free energy" motors on youtube have either got someone's hand poking, prodding and encouraging the things to keep going or they have connections to some external source of power. By all means keep trying. The constant and inevitable failure will hopefully lead you to the understanding of why it is never going to work.

  • "it would be nice if it worked" and it would be nice if I could stop aging but it is not going to happen... actually stoping the aging process is more likely to succeed than your device because there is no law that determines how biology ages.

  • Has he had his cornflakes because his right arm is working hard

  • he's perfected the science of perpetual motion!

requirements: 1 guy who doesn't understand thermodynamics who will perpetually move the 1st cd backwards and forwards forever.

  • sphere with a vaccum

    primary component

    nuff said

  • fundemantal laws of physics dosn't allow you to create energy from nothing or even destroy it, energy can only be converted from one form to another. Using the earths rotation is a poor example to argue your corner as its been slowing down for millions of years albiet at a small rate due to the fact its in a vacumn, also the second disc couldnt ever supply enough rotational torque to drive the first disc too, the guy is disallusioned just how much energy his hand puts in when demestrating it.

  • His IQ really is hidden.

  • the white stick was too long... besides there's easier ways to make free energy by using magnets...

  • i know how to fix it, all you need to do is make the wheel with the spiral to be smaller then the other wheel and then connect the smaller wheel with a lightweight rod to the other wheel so it will only move the big wheel back and fourth yet the small wheel can do complete spins.

  • Hey did you skip junior high ?

I think you have serious physics issues

  • He's Trying to hypnotize us , Don't look to the right

  • "Just give it one more go. It would be nice if it worked ! " haha

  • Nice try. If it works you can put it in a closed shoe box and figure out how the energy comes into the box. It has been stated that energy can not be produced from nowhere - it can just be conveyed and transformed. Where does the energy come from in your case?

  • @tofo2 energy from magnets? :D

  • by moving the CD you are inputting the energy, therefore there is no free energy.

  • what about linking a return spring to the left hand side, or magnets around the edge of the left hand side one so they repell it back and forth in time with the right one, same should apply if speed picks up, what are you thoughts?

  • i am french this is not stupid

  • Okay, so technically you're attempting to build a perpetual motion machine. Good luck! But you do realise they are impossible.

  • @adric23uk i disagree with you a perpetual motion machine is perfectly achievable, under special circumstances, such as a pendulum with no air resistance affecting it. So it's not impossible, just currently unachievable with no expense.

  • @aavaray Actually, it IS currently achivable, and already achived; the rotation of the Earth is proof of that. Immagine a levitron levitating top inside a vacume, hypotheticly it would never slow down because there is no friction on any part of the system; thus 100% efficiancy. Like this, the Earth spins like a top and the vacume of space provides no frition to resist it's prepetual motion. This prepetual motion works for us by giving us day and night but never looses energy to any other system.

  • @SuperstormX Sorry, i meant to say humanly achievable. Also the rotation of the earth, or any other planet is not perpetual, at some point they will be destroyed, take the earth for example, the sun will eventually crash into it and destroy it. I completely agree with your idea of perpetual motion already existing in many ways, but we cannot create devises to represent this as long as we are under the effects of friction and air resistance.

  • @aavaray Have you ever seen a levitron? It's a spinning top held up by an electromagnetic field and kept balanced by it's gyroscopic stability. Now imagine putting one of those in a vacuum chamber and removing the air. Without fluid friction it would run indefinately so long as it goes untampered with. Hypotheticly possible? Yah, but I'd bet someone out there has already done it by now. If not, I'm just one vacuum chamber away from trying it myself...

  • @aavaray - you are confusing the possibility of perpetual motion with a perpetual motion machine. The PMM has to produce an output, which is clearly impossible.

  • @LiamXaoh actually yea im talking of a machine 100% efficient not 101% Im not saying we can create free infinite energy, just something that could keep on moving indefinitely.

  • @aavaray - impossible. If something moves indefinitely then it must be producing energy to overcome losses due to friction. Where will this energy come from? Certainly not a magnet powered device as they produce no energy.

  • @LiamXaoh What if its in a vacuum, as it has been correctly pointed out for now the earth, and a great amount of planets are orbiting indefinitely. You might argue that there is a H atom in every meter square, but for that to stop something moving would take millennia, also something like a black hole might power it.

  • @adric23uk impossibility is a possibility...imagination is only the limit...

anyway i got that from a cartoon show...just wanted to say it...what i dont get is why people keep giving thumbs down on vids like this.there is alot of flaws but its quite good actually. well anyway vids like this should have a tag like "for science!" or "in the name of science!!"

  • @adric23uk impossible is nothing "

  • @adric23uk what if applications where done with alot of money possible powering a car just using magnets, sometimes you must try outside of the box to find the tape to seal the myth in

  • @adric23uk So is sending a man to the moon or traveling to mars right?

  • @adric23uk

Well maybe motion part is impossible, but energy isn't

A lamp gives light to solar panel which gives energy to lamp.

    Win.

  • @TheBetterGamer trolololololol

  • équilibre ça marche pas

  • CDs, glue and magnets and yet you can't find a solution.

Gosh! I wonder why no-one can crack this free energy and perpetual motion stuff?

    Truly baffling.

  • Mount a spring on the single wheel to the left and adjust it.....simple

  • try to add a cam to it

  • keep up the good work!

  • You do know what the first law of thermodynamics states, correct? (Energy cannot be created or destroyed by ordinary chemical or physical means.) You are adding energy to the system due to the fact that the magnet is creating a repulsory/attractive field in an alternating fasion between the two discs. All this means is that the one CD is Pushing the other with the magnet. You will lose more net energy then you can gain.

  • I got a brilliant idea after watching this...thanks a lot.

  • what's powering the left disc though?

  • try placing the discs on a vertical plane.....shafts horizontal to ground...basically movement of the the weight of the manget on the left discs needs to be sprung in the vertical plane so as not to be able to rotate fully....but to act under gravity like the return mechanism of a clock movement....to oscillate while the right discs if neutrally balanced then rotates in sychronous movement....not perpetual but more input energy efficient if added energy is required to

  • I didn't say this would work if it went bigger. I said, "IF the magnets were more powerful, arranged in a better sychnonous orientation, and fixed to a generator..." meaning, the design as is, isn't working... yet, but the IDEA of a perpetual mototion electromagnetic generator is worthwhile to explore these days. I tinker around with little projects and models, and the first attempts always need work - not discouragement. I just had an idea to make this work... patent pending!

  • try a stronger magnet on the single side..?

  • Hahaha!!!

    It is a joke!

    I have fun!

  • anyone tried___ w w w diymagneticmotor com ?

  • Do you know why that plastic connector didnt work???? - Its because your a DUMBASS

  • The right wheel takes kinetic energy from the left one passed to it through the force of magnetic repulsion. Likewise the right wheel can't turn unless you have energy turning the left wheel. Nature has a fundamental law - energy can't be created or destroyed, only transformed, which is all you are doing. There is no such thing as "free" energy.

  • @AluminumStudios The energy is being transformed from magnetic to mechanical, yes. Now, if the magnets were more powerful, arranged in a better synchronous orientation (for perpetual motion), and fixed to a generator - you might get some useable electricity. It's the nay sayers that are eventually, always proven wrong. Perhaps this is the prototype of a perpetual motion electromagnetic generator. The first planes worked like shit, too.

  • @punctualbird People I'm sure called the wright bros crazy. They had small models that flew some distance...so going big could work. This system like the others can't produce anything in small scale so how do you think it would work if you went bigger? Bigger means heavier more friction and more input power. Its a Perpetual motion system only in the short term and you don't count the input power.

  • cool desktop toy, but has no real world use what so ever lol

  • Very clever.

  • Im order for free energy to happen you need to remove the resistance and have the motor hover on a magnetic field

  • hb if you put a small motor so that it gives an initial push to the system but then the wasted energy from the motor is regained from the exponential output the motor has

  • on the left an electromagnet that changes polarity for a part of the cycle but of course youre not gonna produce energy. I wonder what another spiral on the left but reversed would do.

  • may be one more magnet on the right ... or one more powerful on the left

  • nice idea ..........great

  • why dont you make 2 of the ones on the left, so that they will both rotate?
