  • what a sweet voice by priya sisters....especially left ( i think hari priya)

  • @RAHULPILLAISMART7

and even shanmukh priya ma'am has a sweeeet voice . . and see her face truly innocent . .

  • Good voice,awesome !!!!!!

    Refreshing.

  • @balakrishnaiyengar : Yes it is funny but true. Purandara Dasa wrote his compositions mostly in Kannada and some in Sanskrit. Tyagaraja, Annamayya, Ramadas and Syama Sastry wrote their compositions in Telugu. Tyagaraja, Syama Sastry, Muttuswamy Deekshitar also wrote their compositions in Sanskrit. Syama Sastry also wrote his compositions in Tamil as well. But Telugu compositions far exceed the compositions in other Languages. You can see that my statement holds good.

  • Singing with full devotion and enjoying each word by word

  • I feel proud to be from Andra nadu , even tamil people also singing telugu songs...

  • @kishoreMahesh They are not Tamilians. They are Telugu Sisters. Carnatic Music comprises 90 % Telugu. So all South Indians who are into Classical Music have to sing in Telugu only. Fortunately Carnatic Music is given lot of prominence in Tamil Nadu since we Telugus are Great in neglecting our Culture and aping the negative side of the so called Western Culture and also fight regularly on the basis of Caste, Religion and Region. So our survival itself is a big question mark.

  • @sivarampochiraju Er. Its funny because the word ''Carnatic'' actually comes from ''Karnataka'', but you state that Telugu takes 90% of Carnatic music.

  • @balakrishnaiyengar May be we should think the other way. The word "karnataka" might have come from the the "carnatic" music term. So, no conflict.

  • @balakrishnaiyengar Even wikipedia says so, Karnataka Name arrived because there is carnatic music.

  • @amarnathalapati

wikipedia didn't said any such statement , in fact it was one anonymous idiot ( belongs to ip address: 117.192.114.111 (talk) edited the original version on 26 February 2011 at 03:10) altered the article for personal favouritism without citation. i don't how much you know about wikipedia in universities wikipedia articles are not accepted for any citation nor for references because it don't carry any credibilities nor a reliable resources

  • @amarnathalapati

b'cos any jerks with a name of tom dick harry can edit or alter the original articles without considering the ethics and the wikipedia aim, meanwhile fyi the state karnataka have nothing to do with carnatic nor carnatic music , the etymology is soften in english either from tamil or sanskrit, a geographical region and thier musics.. of the people dwell in the core region (tamil nadu, kerala, southern coastal andhra pradesh and south eastern karnataka)

  • @balakrishnaiyengar

yeah it is funny that you still living in a fantasy that carnatic is karnataka, could you please give me a good citation that referring karnataka to carnatic, tallapaakkam annamaachaariyaar predated to purandaradasars and all the 75 tamil apostle are from early 1st ce were practising carnaatic music so please don't bring the emotional irrational karnataka favouritism polluting the fact. anyway i am telugu but i think the royalty goes to tamil region in reality

  • I think it is the duty of every musician to spread the divine words of Sri Annanmacharya. Many of us must learn/teach/sing Annamacharya kritis or they will be lost.

  • . He is wearing vaidUryam (another precious stone) in between his sanku and chakra. When he is dancing on the head of kAlinga, the serpant king, he glows like pushyaraga (yellow sapphire) and when he is Lord Venkateshwara, he is like indra nIlam (blue sapphire). On the whole he is like all the precious gem stones, always helping the devotees.

  • Lord Venkateshwara is compared with precious gems in the form of Krishnavatar Leelas .Mother Yasoda is kissing the Bala Krishna (muDugare yasODa) and he is submerged in her kisses like in a tub of pearls (mungidi muTyamu). Like a ruby (mAnikyam) he is shining and for kamsa the demon he is strong as a diamond(Vajram). His consort RugminiÕs lips are like Coral (pagadam). When he is Govarda Giridhari, he is like gOdEDiga (a brown stone).

I think this is in Aadi Talam.
