  • Nice work.

  • 3:38 looks like a space station.

  • 3:00 A never-ending infinite civilization of microbial fracticular fortitude! Awesomesauce!

  • this needs to be in 3d :-)

  • Everything is a reflection of the whole...

  • i'm dizzy now

  • what the balls is going on??

  • its infinite complexity

  • Mandelbrot Glacier Melting!

  • Wow I just got a boner

  • I prefer Julia sets, but this is really cool.

  • this is real nice but i am used to hearing music when i watch the fractals and couldnt hear any

  • Why do those fractal guys always zoom at a fucking corner or only got 50 the fractal on the screen? Every normal human being would zoom fucking right in the middle of this pile of awesomeness.

  • The middle of the mandelbrot is not interesting. In 2D it is a single colour in 3d it would be a perfectly smooth surface with no detail.

  • Thanks, I didn't know that.

  • But then all that would appear is black! Er, logic!

  • is it possible to make love with a mandelbrot set? i sure wish it was

  • .... pointy

  • if there is infinite complxity beyond quarks (the building blocks of subatomic particles) then yes, because then everything is a fractal.

  • everything is everything

  • and "is" is "is", whats your point?

is there a fundamental building block or is it "turtles all the way down"

    obviously everything is everything

  • wow. didn't realize i had to have a point... i'm not trying to prove anything to you or anyone. my first comment was more or less a nonsense rhetorical question about making love to mandelbrot set.

  • acid fractal!!!!lol

  • I have been working in FE but this seems to have more control with teh spacial relationships for vidoe creations., :)

  • "FE" = Fractal Explorer? v2 of TetraBrot?

  • what is the program that you use to animate this ?

  • see "more info" about video at top right.

  • Holy crap... 2:55 onward is just unreal... especially at 3:30 when the camera pans upward to show all the hanging formations

  • hey thanks man :)

  • It will extend into as many dimensions as our imagination will alow.

  • my imagination will only allow between 2 and 3 dimension

  • impossible! the complex plane does not extend into 3 dimensions!

  • Apparently this complex plane does. It may be possible to use the same math on a plane with two axis' and three.

  • impossible is the ignorance of some...

  • with infinite resolution (and given an infinitely precise eye), this mandelbrot structure wouldn't even be visible.

  • and that my friend is what you see when you open your eyes.

  • debatable.

  • ;-)

  • WAIT!!!

A mandelbrot 2-d goes on forever, so does that mean that this 3-d representation goes on forever in itself?

lol, jk. it just becomes infinitely small, and infinitely complex.

  • Whoa1 It's like it's being shrink-wrapped!

  • Mandelbrot or not, the software he or she is doing it with, is unregistered. GRIN

    Just kiddin', nice vid!

  • My god, it's full of stars...

  • Yay 2010!!

You have seen that movie too?

  • Bahaha nice reference to 2001 and 2010

  • i love butter tarts sooo mich..

  • Me too!!!

  • Sorry, but the Mandelbrot set in 3D would be very different. I know, I saw it once somewhere.

  • Yeah, it's just a slice, the whole 3D set would be a lot of math, and would take way too long to render with current tech.

  • lsd + this = Awesome

  • This video shows that there is room for every one to grow. The growth of fractals was not on the expense of the fair spacial distribution of the emerging fractal branches. This is a great lesson for the growth of organizations: Grow but keep fair distribution for all

  • I first saw this vid nearly 3 years ago and it blew my mind because it was the first true 3D fractal I had seen. Most ot the "3D" fractals out there are just 2D fractal images displacing the topography of a plane. This method here on the other hand is actually fractal from whichever angle you approach it. Very cool! Speed this up, loop it, put on some good music and eat some shrooms!

  • What you have done here is expose the true form of fractals in how they are evidenet in micro-molecular design - a great achievement in my eyes for what you have shown here!

  • Good job, if you want to see mine, paste this after the "watch" in the URL : R70mGWt-E0s

  • points into the right direction

  • Keep fractals alive! They are known to every1. They are the trees, mountains, lightning, water, the part, the whole, the 1, the infinite, man, god.

  • i agree hahah.

they are so much more then what most perceive them to be.

  • Very interesting work! Greetings

  • Hi Tekknojunkie!

I saw your work after you posted a comment to me; I realy liked this videos of yours I have never seen anything like this in the fractal programs yet, it is facinating, makes me think of the molecular world of things. Keep on exploring! Greetings. Mayorga
