A universal benefit reported by every patient has been the recovery of bladder control. Most MS patients have various bladder control symptoms that include urinary urgency, incontinence, nocturia, or urinary hesitancy as a result of the disruption of electrical impulses from the brain to the nerves and muscles that are involved in emptying the bladder (pudenal nerve, urethral sphincter, detrusor muscle). A group of Canadian patients just back from Noble have reported similar results. “I can actually see what I thought were long-dead muscles forming in my feet” said Larry Vermeersch of Kenora, Ontario. “My balance is back and I’m walking without a cane. I’m a pretty hard guy to convince, but getting these two procedures together has made me a believer. @RayOne1Won Hi, yes if only there was a one stop shop easy answer. Every case is different and there is so much research required into different types of narrowings and stents, etc. Also a long way to go with the neurological community. Faith is the evidence of things unseen... I think we have reason to hope. We are 'seeing' many people have real results. K
As for seeing green better, I can say that greenish colors are preceptively the brightest colors humans can see. This is why green lasers are so bright for such little power. (laser geek) Normally, in the tests I have been given, red is what the medical folks say degrade 1st.
I live in the US and I have enough frequent flyer miles to make it to Aussieland. Id like to find info on the procedures there.
Thx for sharing! I hope things continue to improve 4 u!
@Chairoraccoon Feel free to post message me if you want details on who to see in Australia. Alternatively you can join the CCSVI-Australia facebook group as there is always info going up there on the latest. Please keep in mind that after the procedure you do need follow up care (re-testing to see if veins have restenosed, etc). Eitherway Australia is a great place to visit. K
my question is how do you know you have a blocked vein, before you go to a doctor, cause at times, the left side of neck where my veins are, they feel like a small balloon, blowing up and going back down, and also if this procedure helps, can a person not take a baby asprin, to help with the blood flow?
@TheMandy1267 I have not taken aspirin but know people who do and say this helps. It would not improve the underlying problem though if you have a venous abnormality. You only know if you have a blocked vein by being tested (doppler/MRV/Venogram). Sometimes I have felt pain behind my ears and some times a crawling sensation in my scalp. Hope that helps. K
so this procedure helped unblock the veins and now your brain is repairing your nerves at a rate of 2mm/day (7days X 2mm/day= 14mm of repaired nerve) the result is better vision.

Hi i have not read all of you comments so i am not sure if you have an answer to your questions yet, but i am prepared to make an educated hypothesis as to why your getting better.
Dull colour vision is as symptom of optic neuritis which is associated with MS. Sometimes it is double vision or slightly blurry as to focus as well. Definitely suggests procedure works. AMAZING!
Thanks for your post. I have the same pain behind the ear...and my right eye is diminishing in colour perception. Who knows, maybe they are related. Let us know bout your neurologist visit.

Kerri, You are trully an inspiration to me, and with the help of God and you're story, I believe......no, I KNOW this is the answer I didn't believe in god 2 weeks ago, but I do now. In the bible it says there is a cure for everyone. It also says that God sends messengers to earth. I trully believe you are one of those messengers. I did get a call today from Buffalo NY, to sign up for theLiberation treatment they are starting there.
Hi Alexa, Thanks for your comment and I hope things work out for you in Buffalo. I believe it's all in God's hands and will trust him with the results either way :o)
Thanks Mark :o) So far it is all good stuff! I guess it makes sense that a lot of things would be improved with good blood chugging around in there. Kerri x
The green thing you have red blue and green receptors in the in the brain the occipital lobe the stenosis could have caused under simulus in that. the neck thing interests me as you know there is more tests to be done on my left jug and I noticed a long while back that I could not turn my head to that side as far as the right, interesting that you had the same issue! as soon as you said about it I was like OMG! thanks for the update Kerri ! looking forward to more! Trev
G'day Trev, thanks for the info about the green thing. Yes - more and more people are telling me they have had stiff necks so this doesn't surprise me at all. Will let you know how I go over coming weeks. Kerri
Hi Jamie - thanks for taking the time to check in whilst you are on your whirlwind tour! I loved your vid with Astrid - watched it twice in fact! Yep lots of people chipping away will move this quicker for sure... everyday I am seeing more positive stuff from people here in Australia - it is really great. Kerri x
I completely agree Kerri...you look awesome. Much less tired...and you certainly are onto something with the colour green. Your vision can be faded with MS...that must be lifting :) Can't wait to hear what your tests reveal on that.
I think you look great also! Don't get me wrong, you've always looked great but you have just a "renewed, rested" look! As far as the vision goes, I've had optic neuritis MANY times & I've been told MS'ers have a "washed out" color/contrast issue? Maybe that's why green looks green"er"....your vision isn't "washed out" like it has been before? Colors are more intense! Wouldn't that be wonderful! I'm very proud of your willingness to pursue this procedure & I can't wait to see more videos!
This is great thank you so much for the update !!!! I am so happy to see this. We are showing everyone out there including Neuros, Radiologists, Dr's, Government individuals etc....
Your fatigue is getting better YAY!!!!!!!!!!!
Green maybe cause it was St. Patricks Day !!! Vision is a big thing and sympton of MS. Kerri this is GREAT !!!! Makes so much sense. You are amazing. Even from Norway lol...... What a team we have
G'day Mr X, yes Melbourne Radiology clinic for the scan. The Alfred Hospital Vascular Radiology, also in Melbourne. They are not referring to it as 'The Liberation Procedure." It is an exploratory vengram and the Prof is only ballooning if there is a venous obstruction (which I believe has been true in every case he has seen in last fortnight). Kerri
I am so happy to see you and to get your update! Things sound great and you do look wonderful! Add me to the list of people that tell you that you look great because I think you do too! It's great to hear that you had already many improvements and I am glad that you pay attention to every little detail. Thank you for sharing them with us. You make us hope and dream better! :)
Thanks Angela. It is really fortunate that I have videos from over a year ago so everything is documented (ok almost everything - seemed to have left off bladder problems!) So when you get this done people will be able to make comparisons for themselves too. Kerri x
Thanks so much for the update Kerri and you do look great. I showed my dear ol' mum the other video of your op to give her a bit of hope for me and she said "what a gorgeous girl ! " :-))
Yes - you know I think you are right. I used to talk 100 miles an hour and have really slowed down over last year and less confident. So glad I have been doing these videos for a while so it gives some comparison. Brain is much clearer - feels so good! Kerri
btw its Sarah, of YGWG. I agree it is good to see the updates and be able to compare videos from a year ago to the current day! You do seem much more confident and happier! :)
Also it's good to see that it is easier for you to talk rather than it being an effort! p.s. that visual observation about seeing things being really green, i had a similar experience right after my brain op.
Hi Sarah, thanks for lovely comments. Yes I think you are right, and I have noticed I can follow conversations a lot better (rather than thinking halfway through "what did they just say:?" haha) Thanks for telling me your green story - interesting indeed. Kerri
Congratulations! How wonderful - way more than perfect, I am so happy for you. Yep, you know me, I will continue to keep yabbering on about my experiences! hahaha Looking forward to seeing many others joining the conversation after this procedure. Kerri x
Okay not sure if less comment will eventually show up or not but if it does here's the continuation. I was dxed with Acid reflux laryngitis last year. I think it was caused by the MS and in having it explained to me by a gastro last week I'm certain it is. I'm wondering if you may have had a touch of that too now that your voice is clearing up you're having less spasm in the area that causes that - YAY!
Actually good discussion point. From time to time I have had periods of problems swallowing. Nothing major, just takes a few goes before food goes down. Thanks for happy dance and I hope that I am much safer on the roads now lol. Thanks for sharing your green story too. :o) Kerri
I'm doing a seated happy dance for you YAY on being able to check your blind spot driving easier and on having more vroom vroom! As for the green thing I can say once I felt better after a bad attack years ago I'd go to the park and all of a sudden I was noticing more shade of gorgeous green. As for the voice interesting enough...
As far as colors, ive read before that stimulating parts of the brain to help with depression, generally produced more vivid colors. As the reflux of blood creates damage to brain and causes depression among other symptoms, the relief may be the reason. But i am not a doctor. :)
Thank you, that is interesting. Certainly the world is less colourful when you are low. I haven't felt depressed in recent weeks although it was a rough January for me with a relapse. Anyway see how things go over time. Kerri
Thanks I think you are right I feel a lot brighter. I really hope the advert reflects the reality - I am trying to be as truthful as possible and I do feel hopeful. Although for me there is a long way to go yet. I am happy to inspire hope! Kerri
Kerri! I am so excited for you. You DO look MUCH brighter, and your presentation is a bit more direct. That is exciting to hear about your voice. I too sing, but my throat closes up & I cannot hit high notes. I SEE the stenosis on my own MRI's which I finally looked at!! I can't wait to join you. Please let me know who took the videos. I posted yours on Really News. :) How exciting! HUGS!!
Hi Judy, thank you and I think my thoughts are a little more 'gathered' as I speak too. Thanks for telling me about your high notes - it seemed a strange thing to discover I could sing higher but I think it is significant. I hope you can join me very soon. I take my own videos, except the video during the procedure was recorded by my hubby. Kerri
Yes that's what I am thinking. I remember when I had a bout of ON last year I was asked whether I could see red clearly, I never checked on green. Although I did do a red/green colour test with the Neuro so I will do that again. Thanks, K
Thanks for the video. You look very happy. Here's an idea... How about a video of before and after clips of you. That I think will show what the procedure has done for you. Keep us posted,
Thanks Bill, not a bad idea. Perhaps I will do that. Will give it a bit more time tho. Maybe I can do a day in the life of Kezzcass after procedure! hahaha K
Cheers 4 the update Kez, and glad to hear. Yes, you look well! Nice hair, but that prob unconnected...
This 'green' thing is strange - will be curious to hear an explanation. Obviously, this is all fascinating - already looking forward to the next update :-)
P.S. I saw my new physio today re: my spine MRI. Yes, it turns out I've got sciatica ha ha. Glad it's not MS and not serious - but now have an HOURLY exercise to do (lying face-down on floor>arching to look at ceiling, 10 times) groan...
Hey T, Thank you for lovely comments. Yes green thing, still not sure but I will find out! Sciatica - makes sense. Hope you can get it sorted with those exercises - let me know. So glad it is not MS too. Kx
Hi Kerri: you look great I live in Canada can I come there for treatment if I pay for the procedure myself ? I get tested for CCSVI may 5 in another province at a cost much larger than what it costs in Australia.
G'day. Yeah I am sure you can pay privately. The cost I am not sure. I paid A$300 for the initial doppler ultrasound. As for the procedure I do not know. Send me a message if you like and I can let you know who to call to find out. Kerri
Hey thanks buddy - yeah you've probably seen me looking pretty ordinary here on other days! Hahaha. Can't wait 'til you are giving your own report. Kerri
Kerri you ARE glowing. You look beautiful. Since I've been better, so many people have said the same thing. The energy makes a big difference, I'm so excited for you sweetheart! Will write again soon.
Hi Mandy!! Thank you so much :o) Energy changes your life!! I have even been spring (autumn) cleaning (haven't done that in 5 years!!!) hahaha chat soon lovely, Kerri xx p.s. Maybe join your choir eh?? I just hope it all continues on the up and up.
I have a similar issue turning my head. When I turn it to an extreme, looking for traffic, as in your example, it's as if I get nauseous or something, kind of a strangling feeling. Wouldn't be surprised if I have a blockage too.
Ah yes!! If I turned a little bit too far I would get pain from below my ear through my jaw particularly on the left which would hang around for minutes to hours. I seemed to adapt - it forced me to use my mirrors!! Might be worth checking out hey Darrin?? Kerri
@kezzcass Yes it is worth checking out. What should be easy is a huge hassle at the moment in the US. Stanford was the main place doing these things and they shut down due to a stent issue and an infection. It just seems a bit overwhelming trying to get something like that done right now. Hopefully pioneers such as yourself will pound the problems out of the process. =)
Yes - for sure us Aussie have no idea how hard it is in the US. We grow up believing we have a right to the best health care and nothing is really withheld. Yes - I hope we have positive outcomes to the procedures that are being done every day now and that the rest of the world will hear our voice. K
Hi Kerrie Good on you well done. Well I went to cardiologist I took it a number of documents, he didn't read them but he said I could have the Ultrasound straight away the guy that did it and said its hard to do the whole jugular (he did it while I was in my wheelchair) he said it probably be better to have an MRI I said ok he took the scans into the Dr. he said no to MRI
Thanks Helen, I don't think an MRI will help - there are places in Melbourne and now Sydney that have the protocols for the correct scan - send a message to me if you want more details. In Melbourne you can have the scan without a referral I believe. Kerri

Hi Alexa, Thanks for your comment and I hope things work out for you in Buffalo. I believe it's all in God's hands and will trust him with the results either way :o)

Kerri,
You do look very well.
I can see a difference to be sure in everything from speech, to organization and articulation of thoughts.
The intense green thing is intriguing.
I do believe when the brain gets rid of deoxygenated blood appropriately then your perception of color would improve.
That is my thought anyway.
SO glad to see you doing well. You are truly a pioneer.
God bless.
Mark

Thanks Mark :o) So far it is all good stuff! I guess it makes sense that a lot of things would be improved with good blood chugging around in there. Kerri x

The green thing you have red blue and green receptors in the in the brain the occipital lobe the stenosis could have caused under simulus in that. the neck thing interests me as you know there is more tests to be done on my left jug and I noticed a long while back that I could not turn my head to that side as far as the right, interesting that you had the same issue! as soon as you said about it I was like OMG! thanks for the update Kerri ! looking forward to more! Trev
gekiryudojo 1 year ago
G'day Trev, thanks for the info about the green thing. Yes - more and more people are telling me they have had stiff necks so this doesn't surprise me at all. Will let you know how I go over coming weeks. Kerri

Hi Kerri,
So happy to see you looking as beautiful as ever! I have no idea about the color green but hey enjoy it!
Hoping that you see more improvement over time.

Kerri x
kezzcass 1 year ago
I completely agree Kerri...you look awesome. Much less tired...and you certainly are onto something with the colour green. Your vision can be faded with MS...that must be lifting :) Can't wait to hear what your tests reveal on that.
herdeshiner 1 year ago
I think you look great also! Don't get me wrong, you've always looked great but you have just a "renewed, rested" look! As far as the vision goes, I've had optic neuritis MANY times & I've been told MS'ers have a "washed out" color/contrast issue? Maybe that's why green looks green"er"....your vision isn't "washed out" like it has been before? Colors are more intense! Wouldn't that be wonderful! I'm very proud of your willingness to pursue this procedure & I can't wait to see more videos!
2muchlivin2do 1 year ago
Haha - thanks. Comments about colour have been really helpful and everyone seems to be saying the same thing. It makes sense. Kerri

Maybe you say this somewhere else, but where did you have your screening and your Liberation Treatment done?
Thank you for sharing your experience. It is really great you are posting these videos.
MrXfromPlanetX 1 year ago
G'day Mr X, yes Melbourne Radiology clinic for the scan. The Alfred Hospital Vascular Radiology, also in Melbourne. They are not referring to it as 'The Liberation Procedure." It is an exploratory vengram and the Prof is only ballooning if there is a venous obstruction (which I believe has been true in every case he has seen in last fortnight). Kerri

Dear Kerri,
I am so happy to see you and to get your update! Things sound great and you do look wonderful! Add me to the list of people that tell you that you look great because I think you do too! It's great to hear that you had already many improvements and I am glad that you pay attention to every little detail. Thank you for sharing them with us. You make us hope and dream better! :)
take care,
Angela

Thanks Angela. It is really fortunate that I have videos from over a year ago so everything is documented (ok almost everything - seemed to have left off bladder problems!) So when you get this done people will be able to make comparisons for themselves too. Kerri x

I was thinking, which I do on occasion.... was it 17 march that you were seeing extra green, because this is St. Patrick's day? hmmmmm
Just joking of course, wanted to say thanks for sharing your CCSVI results your a real pioneer and your video coverage is outstanding!
Thanks so much for sharing.

Wow Kerri! you look quite alert and energetic, a big improvement. It seems your speech and cognition have sped up too.
That is a great result in one week! I'm really happy for you!
I'm looking forward to seeing your continued improvement!

Yes - you know I think you are right. I used to talk 100 miles an hour and have really slowed down over last year and less confident. So glad I have been doing these videos for a while so it gives some comparison. Brain is much clearer - feels so good! Kerri
kezzcass 1 year ago
btw its Sarah, of YGWG. I agree it is good to see the updates and be able to compare videos from a year ago to the current day! You do seem much more confident and happier! :)
Also it's good to see that it is easier for you to talk rather than it being an effort! p.s. that visual observation about seeing things being really green, i had a similar experience right after my brain op.
sjwbud81 1 year ago
Hi Sarah, thanks for lovely comments. Yes I think you are right, and I have noticed I can follow conversations a lot better (rather than thinking halfway through "what did they just say:?" haha) Thanks for telling me your green story - interesting indeed. Kerri

Ah Kerri, thanks for keeping everyone posted :) as it is education for us all to see this happen and the possiblities for all with MS.
OH yea ! my St. Patricks wedding was way more then perfect ! were recoving today LOL
I look forward to hearing more in the coming weeks!

SRainbolt 1 year ago
Actually good discussion point. From time to time I have had periods of problems swallowing. Nothing major, just takes a few goes before food goes down. Thanks for happy dance and I hope that I am much safer on the roads now lol. Thanks for sharing your green story too. :o) Kerri
kezzcass 1 year ago
I'm doing a seated happy dance for you YAY on being able to check your blind spot driving easier and on having more vroom vroom! As for the green thing I can say once I felt better after a bad attack years ago I'd go to the park and all of a sudden I was noticing more shade of gorgeous green. As for the voice interesting enough...

As far as colors, ive read before that stimulating parts of the brain to help with depression, generally produced more vivid colors. As the reflux of blood creates damage to brain and causes depression among other symptoms, the relief may be the reason. But i am not a doctor. :)
inzition 1 year ago
Thank you, that is interesting. Certainly the world is less colourful when you are low. I haven't felt depressed in recent weeks although it was a rough January for me with a relapse. Anyway see how things go over time. Kerri

HUGS!!
donotconcede 1 year ago
Hi Judy, thank you and I think my thoughts are a little more 'gathered' as I speak too. Thanks for telling me about your high notes - it seemed a strange thing to discover I could sing higher but I think it is significant. I hope you can join me very soon. I take my own videos, except the video during the procedure was recorded by my hubby. Kerri

Thanks for the update Kerri. It's great you're doing so well! When you've had an optic neuritis there can be abnormalities in red/green perception.
margreet0 1 year ago
Yes that's what I am thinking. I remember when I had a bout of ON last year I was asked whether I could see red clearly, I never checked on green. Although I did do a red/green colour test with the Neuro so I will do that again. Thanks, K

Dear Kerri,
Thanks for the video. You look very happy. Here's an idea... How about a video of before and after clips of you. That I think will show what the procedure has done for you. Keep us posted,

Hi Kerri: you look great I live in Canada can I come there for treatment if I pay for the procedure myself ? I get tested for CCSVI may 5 in another province at a cost much larger than what it costs in Australia.
34stargrl 1 year ago
G'day. Yeah I am sure you can pay privately. The cost I am not sure. I paid A$300 for the initial doppler ultrasound. As for the procedure I do not know. Send me a message if you like and I can let you know who to call to find out. Kerri

I have a similar issue turning my head. When I turn it to an extreme, looking for traffic, as in your example, it's as if I get nauseous or something, kind of a strangling feeling. Wouldn't be surprised if I have a blockage too.
gphx 1 year ago
Ah yes!! If I turned a little bit too far I would get pain from below my ear through my jaw particularly on the left which would hang around for minutes to hours. I seemed to adapt - it forced me to use my mirrors!! Might be worth checking out hey Darrin?? Kerri
kezzcass 1 year ago
@kezzcass Yes it is worth checking out. What should be easy is a huge hassle at the moment in the US. Stanford was the main place doing these things and they shut down due to a stent issue and an infection. It just seems a bit overwhelming trying to get something like that done right now. Hopefully pioneers such as yourself will pound the problems out of the process. =)
gphx 1 year ago

HelenWilson59 1 year ago
Thanks Helen, I don't think an MRI will help - there are places in Melbourne and now Sydney that have the protocols for the correct scan - send a message to me if you want more details. In Melbourne you can have the scan without a referral I believe. Kerri
